Align Trex 500XT Tail Blowout :( Not good

Been flying for 15 years, bought more then 20 Align helicopters and never had this problem.

I am constantly chasing tail issues in my 470 a my 550 from align. Someone from align told me to go witn the torque tube on my 470 an I regret it evey day. I cant wait to be able to afford a better heli. Tail wag in 470 and blow out during hard stops in the 550.

I fixed this with the MicroBeast, my settings were wrong. Align makes good helies, just need to keep working at it and you’ll sort it out.

mine was like that i just upped the head speed i only had 60 throttle so i put it to 80 and its great ,

Lucky, I’m getting this on 80, 85 and 90% flat line. Converted back to belt drive fixed myne 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@33gate1 mine is the belt drive one that explains it lol. just got the oxy 4 goin to try that this week .u can see a few of my flights on arc turus 2

It's the tail ratio. 3.8 or something. Ridiculously low. ALIGN doesn't listen to customers when they say they want reasonable tail ratios.

Do you think smaller main blades would fix the problem? This was a belt drive, before i even fly the heli with the belt a converted it to Torque drive, if smaller blades will not help i need to convert it back to belt to see if that helps.

Sell it and get an xlpower or a sab. Alot better

I was looking at the XL Power 520 last night. Or a Oxy 5 - Oxy is so expensive 💰💰💰

@@33gate1 go for the nimbus. You can run it on 6s or 12s + you can use full size servos with so you can have alot of options with it, and you can’t go wrong with 520 or 550 they are still very good
