Thanks for this, I'm booking there for next year. I wish the terrace was accessible only from inside the room, but it looks like it's the best design of any of the villas there (all the outside tubs have their views blocked - for obvious reasons - which makes them feel more like gimmicks than actual features).

During our stay at Alila Ubud, we encountered numerous monkeys. They seem to be present throughout the area, so it's important to be cautious and not leave any food unattended in your backyard. To avoid attracting them, it's best to dispose of any leftovers properly and keep your outdoor spaces clean.

However, it's important to note that they may approach you if they sense the presence of food. It's best not to interact with them using food as bait, as this can cause them to become too comfortable around humans and potentially cause issues. In general, it's best to simply observe the monkeys from a distance and avoid any direct interaction.
