Исполнение этого легендарного виртуоза можно услышать в песнях даже известных западных певцов, а также во время церемонии открытия Евровидения 2012, проведенном в Бак.В одном из музыкальных номеров представителя из Азербайджана во время Евровидения также звучит мугамная вставка, исполненная Алимом Гасымовым.
