so thankful i randomly heard this on a google play station, and i was immediately captivated. this song just hits so many musical sweet spots for me - soft vocals, ethereal production. the chord progression is intoxicating perfection, i believe it has a borrowed chord or two in it which gives it that wonderful mysterious feeling. reminds me of another absolute favorite track of mine that i could easily listen to on loop for hours, deadmau5's "i remember" - this song is like the sexy bossa nova/r&b cousin of that song. obsessed with those beautiful classical guitar licks too, truly the final perfect touch on this delightful aural bath of a track. as other commenters have also mentioned, the only possible gripe with this song is that it isn't long enough. hoping and praying for the 10 hour version the world deserves tbh

I think this album tells a story on how she was super in love with somebody and then got heartbroken by him, tried to date a couple dudes but it wasn't as divine as the first and I think that in this outro, she thinks about the first man who got away and that's why the album is called, 'It Was Divine'.
