WOWOWOW this show honestly blew my expectations out of the water. It was so much better then I thought it was going to be and I'm so happy that it adapted so well.
That being said, of course there is a darklina video. Because I simply love pain and not getting a happy ending. I went into the books knowing what was gonna happen, but I seriously could not believe how much I still ended up hoping for a miraculous redemption.
Ben Barns did his homework and absolutely bodied this role and the desk scene literally made me pause the episode and scream into my pillow while I watched it at 7 am. I also thought the show made a few interesting choices in terms of his character and actually made him more likable than in the books and his motivations are much more sympathetic which is fun to play with.
Originally this video was meant to be finished yesterday, but unintentionally I ended up staying up for 36 hours while finishing a research proposal and then watching this and FATWS. By the time last night rolled around and I was ready to finish this video my mind was wrecked and I needed to sleep.
