Only just now realised she had offered to be there for him to talk to in the very first episode but he turned her down because he thought she was better off without him. Now when it finally gets through to him that he needs to open up and leave the island, the very first person he turns to is Laurel. Oh my heart 😩

I liked Felicity, I really did, and there were moments that Olicity had that were just incredible. But the moment the show moved away from Oliver and Laurel, it went downhill. Oliver's story and character changed when he was pursuing Felicity. If they had left Laurel as the endgame, there was so much potential.

It's pretty obvious by just looking at the ratings of the show to see it went downhill after main laurel died and that's mainly because majority of the people that watched the show were comic book fans and in the comics laurel was Oliver's wife and was the black canary and went by diana. She also had powers. Them making her a throw away love interest pissed off fans. She was the only love interest Oliver had in the comics. This was the equivalent as dc making Lois, Mera etc throw away love interests for superman and aquaman.

@@calebstephan2083 you are being delusional if you think the majority of audience were comic book readers. you need to accept the facts that the general audience is way bigger than the comic audience whether its tv or movie. For CW the Avg. viewers for s4 2.90. Even after laurels death, season 5 rating was 2.21. So only small portion the laurel fans left. The show is not the comics. The lead is NOT the same character. This oliver queen was different. He had different girlfriends. His so called love interest form the comics was not written well. He had different partners Diggle and Felicity. The general audience like myself did not give a damn who was olivers love interest in the comics. Unlike you, i was more open and just enjoying the show for its own stories. "She was the only love interest Oliver had in the comics." again try to accept the fact this is not comics. this was a tv show.

I really like the Oliver and Felicity couple, but that's what's going to miss Green Arrow and Black Canary who don't end up together. So they work together but that's normal a series on Green Arrow without Black Canary would not have been possible. But it's a shame they're not getting married, it's kind of like Clark marrying someone instead of Lois, or Barry Allen marrying Caitlin instead of Iris.
