I saw an interview awhile ago from a famous guitar player (can't remember who it was) and they ask him who he thought was the best guitar player out there. He responded with, " I have no idea. Have you watched some of the people on KZbin. There's players out there we would never have heard of 20 years ago that blow us out of the water. " You are right, KZbin has made it possible to find amazing artists that would have just gotten lost before. It's given all these incredible artists a way to get exposure without having to go through all the shit of labels and record companies. And I think this is why we now hear a lot of experimental type music now. People playing instruments in ways no one's even thought of before. I love it.

As I know, Alip has a Facebook account erlier to posted his video. Before Alipbata channel. One of the song erlier was this Lingsir wengi cover. Then he decided to go on KZbin. Some alipers reupload the content to KZbin. Then here we are. Thanks Mike. Have a good day.

Sometimes alif official channel loose the content. Maybe caused by take down due to copyright or .. Request by the original singers. But some alipers that has downloaded it doing re-upload to keep alif's work still can be watched by others

This happened 3 or 4 years ago, when Alip BA Ta's (ABT) work was stolen by irresponsible individuals (or group?) because there was no copyright for ABT's original music work. This problem has now been resolved after a long n complicated process was carried out to 'persuade' YT in order to protected ABT's music work. The validity ABT's music works only on ABT's original & official channel since it was fist on YT video.

Alip is not only a great guitarist but he also a great arranger and a great composer. May I suggest you to react on some Alip's original compositions : 1. Pagebluk. This song was incorporated by Andrea Pistilli, an Italian guitar Mestro in his concert by end of last year. 2. CT43. A short but very beautiful classic blues song with a phenomenal guitar run by the end of the song. 3. Infected. This video is made by combining 3 layers of videos which produced a very beautiful song. 4. Sepur Tua or Old Train in English. A beautiful and happy bluesy jazz song with incredible fast and clean where Alip's finger "dancing" like a spider in his guitar board. 5. Semoga. In this song Alip plays electric guitar with it's whammy Bar. Very beautiful song. 6. Reorien. Alip also plays electric guitar and his fingers were skating at his guitar very fast but still beautifully clean. 7. Sepi. Alip back with his old Cort acoustic guitar. This is a very beautiful song with high level technique. Believe me you will love the above songs. I am looking forward to watch your reactions on the above Alip's videos. All the best

'Lingsir Wengi' originally played in Gamelan (Indonesian traditional music instruments). Music and dance for some people always related with spritual stuff, and mystique. However, after I saw how cow, cat, dog, etc. reaction to music (apparently Cow loves Jazz 😂, anything with trumpet and trombone). So, I think, if ghosts, spirits, even demons really exist, they're high possibility going to loves music too. The song is not intended to inviting demons or whatever, but this melancholy rhythim, melody, and lyric, our native urban legend said it's attracting a particular ghost, Kuntilanak. The Kuntilanak ghost is a remnant of a lost soul of women who were betrayed by someone she loved dearly when she was living, or losing a child. Lost, she still can't let go, or finding peace. Folks said the melody of Lingsir Wengi, reminding the ghost about life, happiness, or possibilities. It's sad, actually.

Hi. This song (and several others) was taken down from alip's channel bcoz somehow - weirdly - someone had claimed that he own rights onto alip's performances. Can't realy understand then how come alip was considered to be a loser side in this disputement, thereby alip's contents (from that time and previous) had to be taken down from his channel
