Actually I've been familiar with a part of this music since I was very kid, but not as a Theme Song of "The Godfather" hollywood movie, but as a music introduction of a local TV program of TVRI (Televisi Republik Indonesia) Surabaya Station, called "Kesehatan Masyarakat" (Public Health), which was aired every Tuesday, 5.30 pm (it was around 1978 - 1980, I guess...)

Honestly... I never watched The Godfather movie. But I read Mario Puzzo's books .. The Godfather, The Sicilian around 30 years ago.. and it is still one of the best books that I ever read... Movie tells you nothing except acting... Books tell you everything
