I think when part 2 was filmed she would have been 14 so I think after Abigail there is a good chance she could have done it.

@@austinvhm That's true. Pretty sure it started just because she and her sister got an invite to the premiere. I'm skeptical that she would've just been given the part in a movie as big as Wicked, where every young actress would want to do it

@dirt111112 But also Wicked was hiring from the locality. Meesha who played the red beret girl in Matilda the Musical got a part as a dancer in Wicked. I don't imagine she was handed the part but she may have been part of a selection invited to read for it. And do you take a risk on a random nobody or do you give Dorothy to a girl who can sing and already carried a musical and a theatrical horror movie? Logistically it would also work because she is in Ireland so it's only a short journey to London where Wicked is filmed. The odds are certainly in Alisha's favor. However even if she is not Dorothy in the end, I think the buzz is still a huge compliment to her and may even draw attention to her for other parts.

@@austinvhm It'd be fricken cool to see her in it, if there actually is going to be anything for Dorothy. I just kinda disagree that the odds are in her favor, and would be shocked. This literally started because she wore a certain pair of shoes to the premiere and ppl started to run with it. To me, even something like this is so much bigger than what Matilda the musical was and I'd just think the comp for this would be huge.
