I was 11 when this came out. Never paid it much attention at the time. I was into the heaviest band in the world, Iron Maiden (or so i thought back then!). This came on a random mix the other day, and by the end of it the tears were just streaming down my face! Good music just does that to me, moves me to tears. A soulful, evocative vocal delivery, and those backup singers going "Just a little divine intervention" - gives me the tingles and the goosebumps big-time. Perfection in a song.

I have to say I prefer this version of the video to the original. I love the lighting and styling and the overall concept but ..... the videographer or the editor should have been sacked!! 2:17 we're hearing synth keyboard riff but we're seeing saxophones??? Whats up with that!! 0:51 - 0:53 a symbol blurring the view. Needed more cameras and angles to give the video more energy and movement to match the energy of the song. Great song! Timeless! Still as catchy today as it was back in the 80's. Alison truly has the best voice!
