Jack White is a legitimate talent. Few American artists can truly take great talent and expose it to the masses. He's doesn't come from an assembly-line nor is he a mass produced product that the industry shoves us into such as the garbage that's on the radio. There are true talents in American music that too many in the pop culture just turns a blind eye and left with no exposure. Thankfully Jack was able to break away into the spot light.

Love the blue and black. Nice to see him move on from red and white.
@noc-z710510 жыл бұрын
Yes red and white have dated terribly whilst blue and black are still very relevant and look "fresh". Whilst red and white have descended into a ridiculous caricature of their former states, blue and black have both retained a certain level of "coolness". It's only right that Jackie Boy should abandon red and white entirely to retain his public image and embrace black and blue as the natural leaders of a new movement in colour.

WTF defines a hipster? I graduated in 95 my particular crowd mostly wore long hair , bell bottoms, tye dyes etc. I loved the 90s because ANYTHING went, it seems to me not much has changed, not here. I don't notice any hackysack. That was usually "my crowd" I remember LOVING dead leaves I live on the ny side of the Niagara river, so the canadian stations would play it, I never caught the name of song or band. same thing w/ the flaming lips, I thought they may have been the same band? same genre.
@thebentley7112 жыл бұрын
the Stones are punk-rock, & blues. AC/DC are Rock& blues, Beatles are totally pop, w/a bit of old school blues. Somebody mentioned Raconteurs having two lead guitarist that are both lead vocals also, but different in contrast to each other, but flow good together not to mention their great rhythm section. When I was talking about the Stones AC/DC, & Beatles I was talking about how the Rac's have a little bit of each one of those bands in their style. Personal opinion & preference.
@TheRealRooney1012 жыл бұрын
Im Sorry but the gutrrist / lead singer needs to change his look. hes not in some Emo Punk wanna be green day Manson band. And the back up singer has an amazing voice. But i love how the stuck him in the back and gave him a tambourine. Thats so disrespectful . he should be signing with a different guitarist. The rest of the band is top form. And Jack is an amazing guitarist but this is not his style and he is looking all over the place like hes lost. Hate me but it has to be said.
@bubsadoozy12 жыл бұрын
Went to see him in portland and I was a little dissapointed. If you come into the show with no knowledge of the new album's lyrics you're in for a disappointment the large backing band creates too much noise it becomes cluttered at times his voice is lost most of the time. Still JW is an incredible performer.
@mathewflahertymusic12 жыл бұрын
i love new and old jack white. The best thing about the white stripe was meg. she wasnt an amazing drummer but thats what made them so awesome. it was super simplistic and i loved that. However new jack white is pretty damn cool. nut you really cant even compare him with the white stripes because blunderbuss is just a tottaly different style than say... elephant.
@DinoTGenesis12 жыл бұрын
WTF does his look have to do with music? Jack does things for the songs, he doesnt try to dress a way to fit in. He dresses how he likes his fashion and always has been that way. The White Stripes wasnt some emo band but he still looked as he does in this video and has looked this way before emo even existed with shit bands.

She apparently didn't want to. Sometimes I wonder if Meg struggled with the harsher side of the limelight. Remember the "sex tape?" Just the comments on KZbin videos would eventually get to most normal people. "Sea of Cowards," indeed...

Lots of amazing talent here, and he's got style, but his music has no soul. To be honest, I hear drugs talking, and his music really holds no meaning. I'm a sucker for a good beat, but in the end, it's the feeling and the meaning. He doesn't have that.
@Maridu0112 жыл бұрын
