Alister McRae drives BEST Impreza | Subaru 555 Gr.A at Mythical Cars Rally - PURE SOUND

The Best Impreza McRae Limited Edition is a "continuation car" made by Best Engineering and built with meticulous attention to detail, using only those modern improvements that are appropriate and where the FIA Rally Group A regulations allow upgrades, but without distorting the essence of the car itself. The project comprises of 7 Best Impreza McRae Edition cars; one for each of Colin’s World Rally Championship victories at the wheel of an Impreza Group A. The collection will be completed by an 8th car to commemorate the 1995 World Championship title. The objective is the creation of an exclusive series of Subaru Impreza 555 Group A rally cars. These are not replicas but are cars created to faithfully follow the original specifications and characteristics.

Subaru 555 meaning......It was a reference to its sponsorship deal with State Express 555, a cigarette brand from British American Tobacco (BAT), and the team opted to name their competition model the 555. This colour scheme has been iconic in the minds of Subaru fans ever since.

I have a fully race prep RA, forged 470bhp engine and close ratio box. Never use it now, intended it as a track car but now worth too much (growing in value every year) too crash on the track. And it's useless on the road as the close ratio box is for acceleration only, you cannot cruise in it, so it's sits in my garage gathering dust but growing as an investment.
