Big DS was on 1 song that I can remember, nobody stop listening to onyx because he left the group. r.i.p. to the bro tho. Onyx did introduce 50 and DMX to the world

You got that wrong. DMX was first introduced on Mic Geronimo’s debut album The Natural.

Never realized that they started around 91. But when "Bacdafucup(93)" came out I became an instant fan! They've done songs with Treach, B.I.G, Cormega, N.O.R.E, Big Pun and others! When Onyx was a trio they still put out 🔥 music. My favorite albums are the first 3 and "Wakedafucup". Bacdafucup pt 2 was an ok album. When I heard that Son Seeza wanted to go solo I 💭 that him leaving was on a bitter note but that wasn't the case. Best of luck to him. Hopefully at some point in the future he might change his mind. Rip B.D.S🙏!

Time for a morning legal toke with some Ali Talks on deck. LETS GO! Onyx got on my radar as a 90s kid when I saw the video for Slam with Biohazard. I thought it was one big group called Onyx Biohazard until years later a friend told me they were 2 different groups then I started hearing both groups music on cassette lol Yes I know I'm old I'm 41 and come from that cassette, vhs, super nintendo, sega era lol

Bruh, there are plenty of old heads you could use as consultants on your videos that were THERE! This conclusion is WAY OFF! Bog DS was never a main factor of the group to begin with. Heads thought he was the DJ. The reason Onyx fell off is because their lane was taken over by Wi-Tang clan and the boot camp click and M.O.P. and Mobb Deep. New York street had more variety to choose from, plus when they started acting, their street cred started to fall off MAJOR! THAT was the real reason they fell off.

They always seemed like actors and their roles were rap. Never felt authentic was the real downfall. Rap fans can sniff out inauthenticity and shun it.

They were over the top with the aggression and I think that brought them some fans from the punk and metal fan bases. Especially their connection to biohazard. I still enjoy those albums like I did as a kid but maybe if I had been an adult at the time i would have looked at it differently

You definitely didn't mention how they're still relevant now touring overseas, Sir! How Fredro Starr is back producing for 100Mad and GothamCity w/Ricky Bats... You rushed this and didn't do your homework of where are they NOW..

Well going off the title, it seems that the topic is about their *rise*, as in where they came from and how they got big; not anything after that point.
@TeddiePOLO
@TeddiePOLO 3 ай бұрын
@yageshabazz3456 yeah! But he said that when 50 came, they're stardom declined and it really didn't and he left it as that... Don't do the rise and fall without the staying relevant to this day still getting to the bag and them taking care of their families after all these years...

I loved rap when ppl would laugh at me saying "it's just talking too music"😂 Then slowly everyone got onto certain pop songs.then rap blew

imagine getting the news that ur groups about to get signed an then you make the move to go sell crack in another state an get un a lived. That's tragic an short sighted. B Wiz would be alive today an who knows what kind of impact he could have really made on hip hop, Another tragic what if case in the music industry sadly
