Hi. If I place the ball like 7 iron. I can't really turn on time since the club is quite long. Why can't we place more forward to lead foot ? Is Hybrid the same position ?

I think the REAL problem for most of us amateurs is we don’t hit the ground in remotely the same spot MOST of the time. Therefore a few inches ahead or behind is a challenge in itself. Maybe I need to try this with my feet together on the range and see where I hit the ground. Based on other videos I have moved the ball back in my stance. Maybe not enough. Thanks
