Just beautiful! I have never seen a flower put together like you did. It is gorgeous and so easy. I don't see any reason to cut perfectly. I would do the same as you and eyeball it. Once it's fluffed up it doesn't show. I think the length of your tutorials are perfect. If people want to learn something they will want to sit and enjoy it and learn all the details. They should not make you rushed. That's the point, to teach how it all goes together. I enjoy everything you do, show and otherwise so it doesn't matter how long they are :) I hope you have a lovely day! Thank you so much for showing me how to make these flowers. Sharon xx

Lol...I put vids on 2x speed. It helps. How to set it is up in right corner where the 3 dots are. Offers to slow or speed up. Luckily, I don't need to hear ppl talk to know what they are doing. Most ppl are visual learners. Though this item would have been nice if it was to be worn, i would have sewn it after initial gluing. I set my machine to Denim and vwalla! Add too flower with glue the hand stitch. Then add the center piece. I bet the hat its put on or headpiece will be the fav and last a ling time.

i love your flowers, Tricia. I'd never seen one done with sewing the half circles together in a chain. You could economize on your doilies that you're stacking if you cut the centers out of the lower ones, which were a complete doily on their own. Then you'd just be gluing the "donuts" together with beautiful centers to use again. The end result would be the same. Thank you for sharing this. Good tutorial. Hugs - Dennis

Love these flowers....am trying a smaller one at the moment. this was a lovely tutorial, the flower is stunnnnning! Don't concern yourself over people wanting shorter vids cause there's just as many of us who lovvvvvvvve these longer ones, can't please us all and why should you? Please yourself and we will enjoy your creations, whatever we can get. when you were doing the final glue, lifting the layers to more securely attach it all, it made me think you could tuck little fabric photos in there, almost like a fabric book...but a flower, lifting petals to see little faces peering out...like a family photo album or something. Be a fun surprise, especially if the flower was made to not hang but be a centerpiece. You know how all the youtubers lift the layers to examine and count and see how their handmade gift was made? Imagine having little photos tucked in there or sweet sentiments...fun. Thank-you, I enjoyed this a lot!

Love this beautiful flower. May I make a suggestion? I hate to waste any part of an expensive vintage doily...so what I would do is cut out only the parts of the doily that would show and use the middle of the doily on another project. You could replace it with cheap piece of felt or other material glued to the parts or outer part of the doily to hold together.

+Kathleen McKenzie Thank you so much, you are so very kind :) I do this on the smaller flowers but the large ones really need the structure :) TFW hugs Tricia xxx
