Meaning of the song goes like this:
Better is there no place than our land where we belong and call home.
Overflowed with the unblended tributaries, rivers and brooks that unceasingly gush with the untainted waters.
Where the cherriest blooming flowers and the white majestical dancing clouds follow the rhythm of the fluttering winds far beyond the horizon.
The circle of friends we have here is bigger than the universe and cannot be circumscribed with a human geometry.
None shall be called arrogant or hubristic if a host of medley singers proudly croons our land is second to none with an unending chorus.

It was composed by Pu Rokunga during mid 1900s, 'Kan zotlang ram nuam', it was originally in Duhlian (Mizo) language. Maybe, they translated this song in Naga , i think 😅

I may be wrong but, This tune is from "Kan Zotlang Ram Nuam" by Rokunga. He is one of the best poet from Mizoram between 1914-1969. Many said that this tune is taken from Bob wills- Faded love, but on a book written by Rokunga himself, which is preserved by C.lalnunchanga, one of our best Novelist, we can see the year in which Rokunga has made this tune. i.e in 1944. This means that Rokunga has made this tune way before Bob wills made the song 'Faded love'. S.Barkataki, who was superintendent of Lushai Hills during 1949-1953 fell in love with the song and even asked Rokunga to let them used the tune in the Marching song for the Assam Regiment Band Party.
