Gradius Collection - Gradius Gaiden Stage 8 Boss Rush Loop 8 Hardest ( ULTIMATE BATTLE )

Finally my dream came true on clearing this stage with only machine gun by using vic viper 😁
I wonder if this is the best thing that the pro player can do against them because this might be the hardest challenge ever in this stage ...
But to be honest i've found out just a few hours ago before making this video ( modestly ) that i'm confident to do better than this if i was told on clearing this stage by giving even more chances for the bosses to attack me until they blow themselves 😆

Yeah, the Gradius team knows how to make a great game. Great music, smooth controls, the cannon-fodder enemies are just that, the bosses are slightly insane, and they've perfected walking that fine edge between challenging and so frustrating that your console takes flying lessons. Especially III. Ugh, I can't get past that crystal block stage. Those blocks that aim for you are just nasty.

There is a trick for the blocks: just bait some of the first blocks near to a corner (not in the corner itself) and build yourself a "wall". All the blocks are coming from the same place and they all will throw themselves to that wall of yours as you keep yourself, still and calm for a pair of minutes. You could go to the restroom while you're at it XD

I have just got this game myself a few days ago and finally worked my way up to the boss rush, but kept getting stuck at triple core when they trapped you in the triangle and stuff goes flying everywhere. I watched the way you kind of hang around near one of the edges and that finally got me through that one! So thanks! :D

MY favorite boss in the game is probably Deltatry. It's just so badass in so many ways. 1- it LOOKS bad ass. 2- Fire dragons WIN 3- LASER OF DEATH. 4- Awesomest death in the game. 5- the Music FLOWS WITH THE BATTLE. Especially the LASER attack. Just wish it wasn't so easy ;_;

Ali, you make me want to play Gradius Gaiden even more seeing this run. Stellar run. I'm going to try my hand at this kind of run when I get better at Gradius Gaiden, but to make things even more interesting, try with ZERO Speed-Ups. 10:48 - That was me over the weekend when I reached the Final Stage of Gradius for the Konami Bubble System while recording my very first no-death run in that game(before you ask, no, I did not use an original Gradius Bubble System cabinet, as I don't have one)

Anyone noticed how the Death Units here have their attack patterns reversed? Normally, Death shoots missiles with its hatch intact and fires a high-intensity beam once said hatch is destroyed. Here, it seems to be the opposite.

in PSX you should also get free play if you played certain hours ( like 18 maybe ) if not that you should clear the game multiple times ( if that should be also counted with the hours that you must play ) and for stage -Fate- there should be the same check points i've seen in PSP Gradius Collection :) the first check point is ( i think there is one before you start the stage directly infront of the small enemies cannons ) at the end of the last half of the speed zone before Boost Core :)

I've watched this many times but still hard to believe you could do this without dying. Takes alot of patience and coordination with so much going on at once on screen. I'm sure it took alot of trial error to learn to the attack patterns of the bosses.

@aliultimate009 Because that entire boss is a callback to an older Konami top-down shooter called Trigon. The Delta Tri's megabeam is also one of the bomb types you could use in Trigon.

@@emerbinoluan573 Godlike ? Nah ... anybody can do this if they were willing & persistent enough to put their achieved skills into the test after a long hard practice. It took me about 1 year of revision on the game mechanics & AI - with physical & mental training to have the necessary speed of reflexes & reactions to turn the situation to my favor when battling those bosses. I also used to be a very casual player in my early days of playing the Gradius series until i saw those insane gameplays here on youtube which motivated me to work hard on improving my skills by focusing closely on the pros gameplays then using save & load feature in later releases of the Gradius series titles which heavily helped on improving my tactics & strategies.

I mean in Gradius 3 and 5. Death Double shoots laser first in Gaiden then missiles. In Gradius 3 and 5 Death shoots missiles first, then after you damage the front it shoots a big laser.

That Neo Big Core ended up being my favorite Big Cores and bosses in this game. I really love the sound of its bombs exploding! By the way, how do you unlock Free Play?

Simple - just keep playing & saving every time you finish your gameplay to let your playing time be registered in the data to gain extra credits until you reach free play. Also to unlock higher loops you need to finish a single loop then after starting the next loop just finish the first stage on the next loop then save the game to make sure to unlock stage select mode.

@@TAT1101 In Gradius Collection yes if you pause the game in the pause menu 😉 Make sure to save the game every time you finish the gameplay & just in case - do it manually in the option menu 👍 The option menu is available in-game at the main menu screen 👍 You need to collect time of your gameplay about total of maybe over 17 hours for free play mode, but i don't mean 17 hours straight - no - i mean like play at least 1 hour a day then save the game until you reach 17 hours.

+李晉熙 😂 In this video - at it's time - i've practiced this game for 1 year playing on very hard difficulty loop by loop until loop 8 - then i started to try this boss rush with Falchion Beta with gravity bullet & maybe Limit Force Field, then i started on trying this stage with only machine gun & speed ups after clearing all of the previous 7 stages on hardest difficulty X) It made my hair turn white ( exaggeration ) in order to achieve this X)
