@iloilocity62 actually, on personal experience (i work in dubai with so many indians, thai, sri lankans malaysians and filipinos), majority of the indians, thais and sri lankans have british accents.. not because they studied or lived in the uk but because of their own (local) accents.. just like the filipinos, we have american accent when we speak english because of our own accent, we kind of carried our own accent when we speak english.. just an observation..
