naiiyak nmn ako sa galing nag performance ng dinagyang. i just imagine ang puyat at pagod nla just to give their best in every performance. my house is just near in one school here in iloilo na nagjojoin, 6 pm plng you can hear them practising until midnight nayon, at naiintindihan nmn ng mga taga dito bilang support sa dinagyang, im just so proud to be a ilonggo, very energitic and surprising ang performance, every year improving... thank you

GRABE! ANG GALING! SOBRANG GALING! Came here from a thread in twitter about the recent eclipse, where the author shared this story. Grabe ang yaman ng kultura natin! If only our own artists would incorporate these myths in their works the it wiuld get more attention and appreciation. Kinda like how kpop artists incorporates their own cultures myths to their concepts. Anyways, for some reason medyo naiiyak ako while watching this haha. I miss our vibrant celebrations during festivals, the energy, the excitement! This pandemic really prevented us from celebrating events such as this. Higit sa lahat nakakamiss yung pagsasama-sama ng mga tao celebrating our culture.

Wow. This is the story i heard from my mom when i was a kid during solar eclipse. Storytelling+dancing+drum beats=Dinagyang. This is visual, musical, and cultural arts combined. Bravo!

Still the best performance in Aliwan. Wala pa ring makakatalo sa performance na ito kahit pagsama-samahin lahat ng mga past winners. Ito ang pinakaperfect na performance sa lahat. Saktong-sakto lang ang props, malakas ang energy at napakaganda ng musical accompaniment plus ang lawak pa ng judging area tignan.

but this tribe champion in 2013 are represent and also champion this year tribe pari anon but IITF ruin that Rules to limit the props because many electrical wire had cut off because of high props and also many join in aliwan are protest because of Iloilo city props are madaya daw dahil binonggahan especially ang cebu na dapat daw I disqualify that's why 2014 dinagyang not join because of props limit and long performance at na grand slam na namin kaya pinahinga muna kami sa aliwan nang ilang taon maybe soon IITF will not limit the props so you can see the great performance

Unfortunately po nag decide ang dinagyang foundation na huminto sa pagsali sa aliwan dahil subrang laki ng budget ang kailangan sa pagbyahe ng props, drums at warriors at costumes.instead promotions nlng sila like papadala sila ng performers sa mga festival Dito sa Pilipinas.

Nung nag champion ulit ang dinagyang this 2023, I remembered 2013 Dinagyang and realized, no tribe in aliwan can come close to this Panayanon in 2013. Now in 2023, it was a close call between sinulog and Dinagyang.

that time two legendary Trainor are unite that time the Trainor of tribu paghidaet year 2010 champion and also tribu pan ay 2011-2012 champion at that time unite in year 2013 in this tribe but they fight each other because of not tie on money because of many championship won tribu panayanon. but tribu panayanon is former name tribu silak champion way back 2002-2004

Sinulog established in 1980. Dinagyang Festival in 1968. How did Iloilo copied Cebu since Dinagyang came first? What logic is that?

if dinagyang was in 1968, Sinulog was on April 15, 1521. only Sinulog Foundation Inc. established on 1980.. hindi original ng Sinulog ang "tribal dance" kagaya ng sayaw ng Lumad Basakanon o Tribu Pan-ay. The Sinulog's original dance is"SINULOG-BASED".The Sinulog dance steps are believed to originate from Rajah Humabon's adviser, Baladhay. na explain ko na, lab u!
