Kogarashi it’s probably because they’re so used to producing to a faster tempo, with the slower tempo there’s more space to work with. They’ve always had the technical production knowledge, but with 140bpm they’ve been given the room to do their thing

I think that this variety in the dubstep scene nowadays, with artist trying old stuff, and even older stuff, guys producing aggressive brostep, others making riddim, others on the melodic side, all in the same period, all being appreciated from the community, is SOOO HEALTHY. 2019 really summarizing the last decade of dubstep thanks ukf

Im really happy with the direction of dubstep atm. It's no longer just one style, there are so many branches of it that are actively being put out to suit everyone's tastes. I'm personally not a fan of deeper stuff like this, but I'm glad its out there for those who do enjoy it. Just makes me happy to see all this variety.
