@@alissakataan9938 9 inch baking tray grease with oil and dust maida Now In a juicer jug add oil half cup sugar half cup add 1 cup mango cubes now blend it for 30 secs pour the mixture Ina bowl add maida 1 cup baking powder 1 and half tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp now fold/mix the batter do not over mix the batter add 2tbsp milk powder (optional) at last add 1 tbsp white vinegar now mix the batter and pour it in a cake pan and bake it Patila timing:medium flame for 2 mins now lower the flame for 25 to 30 mins Oven timings: preheat the oven for 5 mins on 180C bake the cake at 180C for 25mins or until fully baked And enjoy :) :)

Writing the ingredients & recipe for my reference: 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup sugar (white, no need of powdered sugar) 1 cup sweet mango -blend them all for 30 seconds- 1cup all purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda -sift portions and fold gently with the blended mango mixture (Do not over fold)- 2tbsp milk powder (optional) -fold it with the cake mixture- 1tbsp vinegar -fold it with the cake mixture- -pour the mixture into the coated cake tray- *bake in oven: First preheat oven at 180 C for 5 minutes And after that bake for 25 minutes or until fully baked.

I’ve tried the recipe and it came out perfectly. Any vegetable oil is fine as long as it doesn’t have a particular taste. Melted butter can be substituted for the amount of oil. I used melted margarine 1/2cup (astra), and it turned out great for me. Added few drops of vanilla for the batter too.

Hi I hope you will reply. I tried making this recipe without using an oven. But for some reason even after an hour the cake wasn’t baking. I ended up placing it in the oven. Instead of baking it at low heat should I have baked it at a medium low or medium heat or simply let the cake bake for over an hour?

Either the pot/utensil in which you were baking was quite at a height from the flame or the hot vapour was escaping.

The cake is on process I will update how it came out Edit: the cake was too moist like an uncooked cake evn when I kept the cake for longer time The taste was good but I feel it's better to eat mango just like that thn making it as a cake mango jell will go well with cakes but not mango cake But this was a try maybe in future I might like mango cake
