Politicians at every level absolutely condone the problems that need a business like human trafficking to thrive; especially, in places like California. Organizations like the National Guard are utterly useless and receive funding still. How is extreme poverty in towns throughout America not a national security issue wherefore different forms of aid could have been brought in as a preemptive measure to ward off the obvious culprits of the crimes related to human trafficking?

If they know the revenue of this criminal network that should tell you a lot. That means they know pretty much all the players and their assets. How disgusting is that. Because if they know this then why isn't it stopped.

*Dalai Lama* ✍️🌿 I have been deeply saddened by the conflict in Ukraine. _Our world has become so interdependent that violent conflict between two countries inevitably impacts the rest of the world. War is out-dated - non-violence is the only way. We need to develop a sense of the oneness of humanity by considering other human beings as brothers and sisters. This is how we will build a more peaceful world._ Problems and disagreements are best resolved through dialogue. Genuine peace comes about through mutual understanding and respect for each other’s wellbeing. We must not lose hope. The 20th century was a century of war and bloodshed. The 21st century must be a century of dialogue. I pray that peace is swiftly restored in Ukraine. ─ His Holiness *Dalai Lama* ✍️🌿 {28 February 2022}

*Dalai Lama* _✍️🌿_ _Human society exists because it is impossible to live in complete isolation. We are interdependent by nature, and since we must live together, we should do so with a positive attitude of concern for one another. The aim of society must be the compassionate betterment of all, not just humans, but all beings living on this planet. When we gain more appreciation both for the kindness intentionally bestowed on us by others and for the unintended kindnesses reflected in the goods and services we depend on daily, we will contribute to a healthier society._ ─ His Holiness *Dalai Lama* _✍️🌿_
