@@ankundamwebembezi6358 It is not even about blame, its very pragmatic. Countries do not have enough money to adapt to a changing climate or transition to cleaner energy sources without increasing poverty within their states, this is just a fact. The countries that do have enough money and have caused this issue and are still contributing to this issue (The U.S.) need to assist developing countries. Why are they unhappy? Simple: $300 billion in climate change aid is $1 trillion short of what developing countries asked for, which would still have been a pittance for the combined economies of the United States, European Union, and China, the largest contributors to climate change by a wide margin. According to the IMF, the U.S. GDP is worth about $29 trillion; the combined GDP of the E.U. is worth just under $19.5 trillion; and China's GDP is worth a little over $18 trillion. The U.S. and China alone could easily contribute the entire amount climate-vulnerable nations have been asking for and still have plenty of money left over. But, _no,_ we have to keep our economies growing forever, the rest of the world be damned if that economic growth requires the exploitation of harmful nonrenewable resources whose burning everyone knows is chiefly responsible for the fastest increase in CO2 emissions in the planet's geological history. To say that this COP summit was a disappointment would be the understatement of the century. It was more than a disappointment; it was a cruel, unfunny joke, where the objects of the joke were the representatives of all the most climate-vulnerable nations on Earth who begged and pleaded for appropriate financial action to tackle climate change. The petro states and their imperial patrons are laughing all the way to the bank while these poor countries get what basically amounts to nothing. $300 billion sounds like a lot until you realize that one man already has more than that in net worth, and we all know he is not going to devote even a cent of that money to help a bunch of poor brown people.

The problem is not how much, but who has the responsibility to pay for renewable energy plants "in developing countries". For example, China has paid for a lot of their own renewable energy plants for manufacturing export goods. Why do China have any responsibility to pay for renewable energy plants in India or Vietnam helping their competitors? Why don't China simply build more plants themselves and sell renewable electricity like raw materials to India or Vietnam factories? They can simply raise the product price and it doesn't need free aid at all. BTW, China is developing country in GDP per person.

Wealth is not the factor . the developed countries which contributed to the pollution ,should pay to fix it . And these developed countries are hindering the development of the developing countries in the name of climate change which they created after the exploitation of earth for centuries. So they should pay for the treatment used in reducing the pollution during the development . Or just dont bother to stop us from using conventional methods of development .

@@Youalrightboi you are wrong. There is only one factor which is wealth. Just give me one answer if your neighbour have fortuner car Doesn't he show-off. He will definitely show off. India per capita co2 emissions are not low because our people are responsible. It is only low because a vast majority do not have access to extensive resources. Usa majority have access they are exploiting. What are you expecting that we develop like Usa and then think 🤔 now how we can reduce our consumption. This is tricky game. I did 12 year of schooling and now in college. There is nothing that can motivate to save nature. Tons of paper is used to make poster for save environment and again that is also destroying nature. Humans have a sick mentality to overconsume and control everything that is the only problem. There is only one thing that can control global warming which is self consciousness. Reduce your unwanted needs. Control unwanted births. Spread knowledge to new generation. Value of nature . These meetings is just a game between countries to control developing countries.
