I thank Al Jazeera for bringing the coup in Gabon to my attention along with their report of coups in other central and western African countries that are also rich in oil resources. I thought that the interviewer was rather gentle in his questioning of the new Prime Minister, but western media appears to have ignored this story altogether but I could be wrong about western coverage. Thank you.

There was indeed coverage of the coup in gabon in wester media, however it lasted 2 days at best and conducted the same conclusion as al jazeera, namely that the Bongo family was corrupt and the new government might or might not be the next corrupt government

They should first restore the IFF that went out of the Gabon

To be precise and to the point yes Bongo family over ruled Gabon but equally my fear is that it is same dynasty. Time Will tell the reality.
