I'm a Filipino and a huge fan of the South Sudan Basketball national team in the Paris Olympics specially when they almost have beaten the NBA lead US Basketball team in their friendly match. I admire their coach, leader, financer, and president, Luol Deng. He is a source of inspiration and power for the team and the country.

I watch their team and their fans live in Manila when they played against us, the Philippines, in this World Cup and you can really see how this one is such a source of pride for them. I hope South Sudan, and the rest of Africa, breakaway from all these wars and instability in the region, and just reach their potential cause I meet a lot of nice Africans in my country.

You have in one interview become on of my favorite sons of the continent. Intelligent and proud of where you come from. You give back and I can hear the truth in your voice. You will surely inspire all Africans that are still complexed of how others portray our wonderful continent, instead of educating them of all the wonders we have., the talent and intelligence and the drive of Africans. Love the whole segment. His mindset is what we need to move Africa forward, it's shame that politicians lack this level of basic vision. You can apply the same philosophy to many areas other than sport. We have people, we have resources, we just need the will and vision to progress.

Shut up. Because of this type of behavior we are always fighting each other. Always telling one tribe is not from the country and the other tribe own the country. Did you ever see black Arab??? Arabic is the language adopted by Sudan because they are not too far from the Arab world. I speak French that doesn’t make me French… Colonization makes me speak French. They are all Sudanese but different tribes. My country has over 60 ethnics groups because. We were living by tribes in Africa, colonisation makes us contries without considering the differences. Let’s put that behind and unite as a country because it’s done already.
