The deputy president blamed the intelligence agency for failing to inform the government of the public sentiment, suggesting a lack of preparedness and understanding of the situation. The people of Kenya should immediately overthrow the Ruto government. The protests led Ruto to ultimately withdraw the controversial finance bill, which appears to be a concession to the public demands. The next government should focus on addressing the underlying issues through dialogue and reforms as Ruto has not indicated.
