I can assure you India can never turn into Pakistan because we Hindus aren’t people of a book. That is we don’t have a holy book the equivalent of Quran or bible which can be citied to bring uniformity among followers. That means we essentially are a pluralistic religion . Example within a family of 4 all 4 could be having four different ways of relating to religion. But if you are saying India is becoming more conscious of Its religion yes it is. So I see India could be heading in the direction of countries like Turkey or the gulf states.
