The change in a country comes from the people of that country, not a foreign country. A country cannot have a dictator if people of that country believe and exercise the freedom among themselves. The people who run a country come from that same country. A dictator cannot exercise his power without people who execute it. A revolution can be stolen, but a change coming from people hardly can be stolen.

This has added nothing to what I already know. It’s superficial. The whole journalistic approach to joirnalism and reporting on such a big event is a reflection of a fragmented thinking, divorcing journalism from the big picture of the political economy of the uprisings, repeating the vague slogans and phrases of the event.

..people need order first. Without it, freedom becomes dangerous...Freedom cannot exist without responsibility, and it is educated from an early age. ALL Asian tigers were able to make amazingly rapid progress because they had authoritarian regimes, led by patriotic people who knew how to gather around them extraordinary professionals. Thus, they quickly changed mentalities and were able to lead society towards prosperity and democracy. Our lack of education means that cunning nullities are chosen, which maintain the state of return, the source of their power! Nobody forces us to do that, bad choices belong to us! The louder the Americans shout for democracy, the more freedom in the world loses ground. One of the most convenient explanations is the global antipathy of former President George W. Bush. He mixed democracy with freedom, arrogance with nationalism and stupidity with fundamentalism in a very toxic formula. In Russia, as in Iraq, people need order first. Without it, freedom becomes dangerous. And the main problem facing the underdeveloped states is not the absence of democracy, but that of good governance, from Nigeria to Haiti. It is clear that it is much easier to claim liberal democracy than to achieve it. Every people wants its freedom according to its specific culture, but building a real and sustainable democracy is a much more complex issue. Americans believed that "the best chance for peace in today's world is to extend freedom around the globe." This pleased the wounded and hurt the contented. But America was left alone, and that was because of its own mistakes, because of the annoying difference between what it said and what it did. Americans are free at home! Don't confuse what's in America with what Americans do in the world! Look at the freedom and happiness they brought to Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, where they intervened. In general, for the time being, countries behave with each other as in the Middle Ages, power being the only criterion of value, regardless of internal regimes. Tyrants have been around for a long time and will be if the world does not change. Obviously, Americans like the world as it is ...
