Kenyan President Ruto dismisses most members of his cabinet after weeks of protests

Kenya’s President William Ruto has sacked nearly all of his cabinet ministers.
He has promised to form a new government that will be lean and efficient following weeks of deadly protests over high taxes and poor governance.
Ruto has cancelled the proposed tax increases, but demonstrations have continued, calling for him to resign.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb joins us now on the line from Nairobi, Kenya's capital. Stella Agara, an Africa Governance and Security Analyst and tax reform campaigner, also joins us from Nairobi to discuss this.
