For 6 years, we exceeded the growth of the 4 so-called Asian Tigers, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore. I'm proud of the achievements that I've achieved. Such a stark contrast between him and Tun Dr. Mahathir in terms of charisma and speech. Tun is not only witty in his language, he's also much more convincing and he knows how to answer interview questions without being hostile to any parties. When he doesn't want to answer a question, he knows how to make it answered without a real answer. And he doesn't walk away in the middle of an interview like a child not getting his candies. Even if he did, I'm pretty sure he won't be indecisive about whether to walk away or not.

What to expect. Najib is beyond stupid to accept the interview session at the first place. Maybe he's thinking this international channel will provide him with the avenue for "clearing his name". But what you expect from Al-Jazeera. Only rating and disclosure. And some more the experience of the interviewer being reported to her journalistic effort on Altantuya case.
@tomiemyspace50546 жыл бұрын
All journalist abroad esp from CNN and the likes are having no-holds-bar when it comes to questioning. You either be prepared to be grilled or just avoid it. They're as open as they can be, and they do their homework diligently, and being help by the research team behind the production. Even Mahathir was grilled, baited by Christiane Amanpour during the interview session. So again sheer stupidity from Mr. Ex-Premier.

That's the price of a condo!!! You are wearing a condo on your finger and shaking the condo as you move your hand!!! Najib: No! No! No! I presume... that you don't understand because this is my true legacy and culture practiced during my tenure, I assume... that there is absolutely nothing wrong with having that small, meager amount of petty money worth a condo on my finger. Leaders' need to listen to criticism, and be able to keep their cool answering provocative questions. Dr Mahathir recent BBC was one of a cool cat reaction. The BBC interviewer keep pushing him, sighing aloud, interjerking his answers but Dr Mahathir appears poker face throughout. I actually thought Dr Mahathir came out eloquently in the BBC interview. In this interview, Najib clearly appears agitated by the questions. He could not keep his cool. Sad.
