thank you so much for posting this! this is the first time i've seen their GPF of this program, and it's nice to see how this even went further in its greatness to culminate in their olympic gold

She's not nearly good enough. He was absolutely the stronger skater.

I see what you mean. He's much more graceful than she.

Of course Bruno is stronger. He's double the size of Aliona. For your info, Bruno was Aliona's "unpolished diamond" from 2015-2018. She was the 5-time world champ when she paired up with Bruno. From never having medaled internationally, Bruno immediately reached the podium at Europeans, Worlds, etc. As a pair, they just became better and better, culminating at the OG 2018 winning gold (although Bruno's error in the short program nearly cost them Olympic gold). They won the Worlds one month after. At both events they set a new world record score. Having won everything, the quit competitive figure skating soon after.

i absolutely love aliona's skating much more than bruno's. amazing core strength and grace combined! when you see someone with great strength, grace is usually nonexistent and vice versa. she's also the queen of versatility. she can skate to whatever musical theme her coaches can throw at her, and she's such a diva in any of those.

@@rensociervo2496 the results after the last team skated their LP was very nailbiting! i was on the edge of my seat waiting for the results and by golly! they edged out sui/han by just a hair of a point! such determination from savchenko/massot to really claw their way up from 4th place in the SP! granted, the chinese did make errors in their LP. if they didn't, they most likely would've won gold, with s/m winning silver

@@zilam98 Yes, they gave a flawless gold medal Olympic performance. Maybe the best pair FP ever. The Chinese judge was later banned for consistently low-grading the best competing pairs. This just confirms that Aljona & Bruno were the best. And not only at scoring points, but also at delivering an outstanding performance to be forever remembered.
