Most of the songs in the 90s and early 2000s are sung by her only. Only Male singer changes from Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh etc But Female version is sung by her in most of cases.

Alka yogin vocal tone is most charming and bright among all singers that's why she heavily dominated 90s and early 2000...she got the similar fame as Lata Mangeshkar...but the only distinction between Lata and Alka is....Lata's Vocals are even more powerful than any singer exist on earth...her voice can cut through any sound ...that's why Lata M dominated 60years straight without a dip in career....Shreya is also on similar track of Lata and Alka...but I found Shreyas vocals arnt as much bright as Alka...Alka voice is like voice wrapped in Honey ...it's pure magic.... Lata Alka and Shreya share the same league of Bright vocals... But Lata is undisputed Queen of All.
