Le festin d'esope is great! Also listen to Hamelin's studie version of the festin. Maltempo chooses slower tempi and brings voices more to the forefront. Hamelin goes faster which results in a more virtuoso bravurian performance! There is no best interpretation. In fact I am glad that there are multiple versions which supply the listener's ideals. Bravo.
