0:22 Obvious spoiler alert for anime-only viewers; The most iconic moment imo is only found in the LN afaik, in the side-story about Igris' memories. When I first read the Manhwa, I didn't get chills when I read the first "Arise" for the first time because I didn't know what to expect. I did get huge chills however when I read it from Igris' perspective. When he was thinking about Ashborn's decision to entrust everything to Jinwoo, that's when I realized how deep his character truly was. He may look like a loyal knight during the story, but it's only when you read his side-story that you realize that it's not because he was brainwashed into serving Jinwoo, unlike most other Shadows such as Beru or Greed, but instead because he chose to. It's also why it took 3 attempts. He was lost in his thoughts and nostalgia until the very last moment.

Jinwoo for the first time summoned the dead from ordinary people. the same ordinary people that the monarchs killed moments before. letting them get vengence after unfair death. he doesnt like summoning shadows of "normal" people. he feels like the ordinary citizens deserve eternal rest and sends them back to the void after hes done. you see it again later on in the webcomic in the side stories when jinwoo works as a cop and summoned the dead of ordinary young woman that anheroed herself because of the [implied] rape and abuse from her stepfather. he let her settle the score against the guy and then returned her to the void.

You're making shit up. It was. Never in the novel or manwhua that beru "copy skills from his kills". The only reason he can "heal" like an s rank hunter and talk like a human is because "He ATE an S rank hunter's Head". Read that chapter again, after he munch minbyeongu's head he was able to learn how to speak and was later revealed to be able to heal. So beru doesn't get the skills from killing, only by eating someone else. Fact: beru killed several Japanese s rank hunters one of which can use ice magic, yet beru can't and was never shown to use ice magic, that's because he never ate that guy, he only killed him.

Ehhhhhhhhhh. Wait for some of the kings. I can name three or four coming by summer or end of year with far better animation, EXTREMELY better characters and development. And this is subjective but better over all story. If you haven't read solo yet, the mid section losses most of the MCs drama. He stops working for anything. He stops fearing anything. And anyone of value he may lose gets one or two chapters per 50 so the impact is negligible. It's a fantastic manga and hopefully continues to be a killer anime, ingoring the weaker art and facial expressions compared to the panels.

I’m so in love with Igris like I don’t even know how. Everytime he comes into screen when I’m reading, I get so excited. His backstory makes me love him more (as if that’s possible). He thinks he’s the most mature but he has his silly side too. It explains why, despite being obviously much stronger than Sung Jin Woo at the time, Igris was the first to willingly join the new Shadow Army. A similar reason with Kamish, I’m assuming. Spoiler : I lowkey wonder why Jinwoo never summoned Go Gun Hee into his army. The respectable man obviously still wanted to live his prime and fight among his fellow younger warriors.

I think the video was good but a few things to keep in mind 1 there were still other strong shadows like the other dragons and jima ( the shadow that was around tusk's level that defeated 1-2 giants ) 2 both igris and beru were holding back vs suho. suho isnt "there" yet so that statement fails. Jin woo could have put this order of fights simply cuz thats how jinwoo fought them, and thats actually the most likely scenario, since he would want suho to go through the same things he went to become mature on a battlefield 3 after bellion beat beru, igris still wanted to challange bellion, showing that igris at least thought that he could do a better job vs bellion than beru, which is kind of the only statement we have regarding beru and igris Anyhow good video overall

For me, Beru is slightly stronger. But imo Igris isn't far from Beru tho. Basing on Beru's performance, he's quite more capable. Also the fact remain that Igris fought Suho seriously (We could say he held back or whatever but he still fought back seriously) while Beru cried the whole time without fighting back when he had the chance to do so. Mind you it was a lot of chances and during this time Suho was much more stronger than his fight against Igris. He was around level 150-200 or below if I recall with the little monarch buff giving him 40 stats each, while his fight against Igris, he was level 70 without a job (Still with little monarchs buff so his stats are around 110 during this fight while his fight against Beru it's over 200+). I don't remember some parts accurately so mb if some of it are wrong.

I definitely think Jima is stronger than what was stated in the video. Multiple Japanese S-rank hunters had difficulty taking down one giant (and they were stronger then a the Korean ranks), but jima was able to one shot 2 of them… I would say jima is much stronger than the average S-rank at this point.

So a small detail you missed with the ant Queen the reason why he cancelled the summon wasn’t because of the reproduction ability of the shadow it was actually because upon summoning her the shadow ants were automatically attuned to her awaiting commands, due to that Jin woo didn’t want to leaders commanding the ants as that would make/Create problems down the road as a result he cancelled the summon Edit 1: #12 He could move while invisible, he stayed still so that he wouldn’t be noticed by beru considering he sensed the power coming from him, who unfortunately sensed his presence while he was invisible Edit 2: #7 and #6 The two were National level hunters who were above S-Rank hunters, Hwang/Greed was Condemned to be an underling as punishment for all he did and Olaf specialized in Barriers. He boasted of his skills and didn’t take the job seriously seeing as he thought the Koreans(Not Japan)were foolish as he can use the situation to see if he can squeeze as much money as he can from the situation Edit 3: #5 Tusk While tusk was indeed a tough shadow His strength was showcased during the time Jin Woo had the strength of close to or at a S-Rank hunter as this was before he even met Hwang and definitely before Beru; The issue lies in that While tusk can use diffrent Hymm’s he can only use one at a time and That he does not do close range often. In conference where top 10 hunters around the world meeting. in manhwa it said that "100s of dragons stronger than kamish, so nation level can't to anything" 1 of the audience said "strong as Kamish? that was unbelievable" in novel jinwoo said "100s of dragons that are as strong as kamish so nation level hunter can't stop them" but in the last war pre regressed timeline. Dragon kings army consists of 100K dragonian (humanoid dragon) 100 dragons. 10 ancient dragon tha's leading them. It was confirmed that the 3 dragons comes with bellion is ancient dragon and just like bellion strong enough to momentarily help jinwoo against dragon king. NOT even tusk can to that. that's not counting the nagas.

The main reason that Sung Jinwoo cancelled the ant queen as a shadow was because even though she was ranked a general rank as a shadow, her main ability was that she could reproduce many ants and having them to evolve over time. So because she became a shadow, and she doesn't have a body it would be impossible for her to reproduce.

To be honest Thomas Andre was already a vessel of a Ruler so I am not sure if shadow extraction would be possible or if it was possible whether Shadow Thomas would be as strong (since the Ruler inside him would probably not be part of Sung Jin Woo's power? Not sure)
