Can I just say, I appreciate how high that you have RZ's Halloween II on your list! I personally love this film so much. I mean, it has its flaws, but I love the exploration into the descent of Laurie's madness. It's the most in-depth look into Laurie's psyche, and her reaction to finding out that Michael is her brother. We have never gotten that with any of the other Halloween films, so this film is such a breath of fresh air! This was a solid list my dude. Great video! 👍

This is probably the closest to my own ranking I’ve seen on here. Legit, I’d swap Halloween Ends to #9 and put H2O #11. Scoot Halloween Kills down to #4, put Halloween 4 in #3 slot, make RZH2 #6 and H2 1981 #5 and move season of the witch to #1 and make the original 1978 film #2 and that’s my ranking. We are mostly compatible on pretty much all of the films! Great job! It’s nice when you can find someone who thinks similarly!

My ranking is extremely controversial. Here we go! 13. Halloween 5- Terrible movie, so incompetently made i can’t believe it 12. Halloween Resurrection- Also terrible, but has some unintentional funny bits 11. Halloween 4- Never liked this movie. I find it really boring and I hate the mask. 10. Halloween 6- Garbage movie, but entertaining, has a good Myers 9. Halloween Ends- Disappointing overall. I don’t hate it, but it’s just not what I want from a Halloween movie, unless it was an anthology instead of the final chapter in this story. 8. Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2- Solid film, but also kinda pointless. I think the first one wrapped up the story perfectly. 7. Halloween 2018- I’m mixed on this one. Awesome Myers, good characters, but doesn’t feel like a horror film…no suspense or anything except the end fight. Kinda boring tbh. 6. Halloween H20- I like this one more every time I watch it. Sure it feels like Scream, but I think it’s a fun solid entry and has one of my favorite openings in the series 5. Halloween Kills- Michael is badass in this one. I do think it gets silly at times, but it’s really everything I want in a slasher. 4. Rob Zombie’s Halloween- I love this take on the character. This is the “Joker” film of the Halloween franchise. Darker, more raw, tough to watch. I love it, but I have to be in the mood. 3. Halloween- A classic, but I have to admit it’s not my favorite. I love the suspense in this movie, but admittedly there are a few dry spots. Still great though. 2. Halloween 2- I think this is the scariest Michael in the series. Something about the walk, he seems…like an evil entity pretending to be human. Gives me “it follows” vibes. Love the setting, always preferred it to the original. 1. Halloween 3- Bet you didn’t see this coming. Yeah, I fucking love this movie. Not much else to say.

Not to be nitpicky but Dick Warlock played Myers in Halloween II (1981). George P. Wilbur played him in 4 and 6.

Thats a pretty solid list. With Resurection, Halloween 5 and Ends you got the stinkers at the bottom. I am also one of the guys, who likes Halloween 2 from Rob Zombie and Kills. But i am not a big Fan of Halloween 3, but i only watched it once 25 years ago. Maybe i will give it another chance.

After the most recent franchise watch leading up to Ends. I get the hate, but I fucking love Ends. Watched through it 3 times already and can't wait to see it again. 1. Halloween 78 2. Resurrection I totally agree with your take on H20. Never got the hype on it. Bringing in Kevin Williamson to do a meta Scream-esque Halloween movie feels so desperate and cheap to me. And the fact that the Scream movies themselves are canon in that timeline is the dumbest shit. Used to have Halloween 5 much lower, and RZ Halloween II much higher, but man this most recent watch was tough to get through after the first 20-30 minutes.

RESURRECTION was a laughable and idiotic farce. I actually did like 5. I thought H ENDS was pretty good. I didn't see the RZ films yet. H2O was decent. 2018 was alright. The Producer's cut of 6 was pretty good. 4 was pretty good. 2 was 1/2 way decent. H KILLS was shockingly good. 3 was interestingly good. The first was of course the best.
