Hailey,now i gyat more respect for her as a descendant. It was nice to learn she was a bit of a prodigy,also when she refused to retreat and decided to save her comrades,i was sold. Only descendant who was fortunate enough to turn her story around (no deaths for comrades). My no1 for sure😊

all the characters are actually interesting, it's too bad the devs don't have short introduction cutscenes to make you understand their origins better. Because each one is very unique and has such good backstories.

Yeah, I find that for many games devs create so much lore for the game or characters but don’t really share it very well throughout the game 😊

Well let's be honest, neither the Players or the Devs seem to be interested in that... Players: Just care about Female Descendants (For Obvious Reasons) to the extend of shelling out tons of money just to make them look hotter Devs: Just care about making Hotter looking Descendants/Skins so the players can shell out their money on them Note: I don't actually play this game, I tried it when it on release for 2 Hours and then uninstalled it... to me TFD just doesn't offer anything particular that other similar games don't (Ex: Warframe and Destiny 2), so I didn't feel like bothering with it, specially considering a lot of the mechanics felt less polished!🤷‍♂️

Also as looter shooters go, it's pretty solid, I played Destiny 1 & 2 both 200hrs+ and put in 100+ in Division and a bit less in Warframe and I find it a good combination of all.

I had no idea how detailed the backstories are. I wish we got that in the game, I know it's a looter shooter so I didn't go in waiting for TLOU or Witcher level story telling, but it would be nice to get more. Great job, thanks a mill! 🙏

I haven't gotten to try every Descendant yet. (mostly because of the limited character slots wall looming over me and my wishes of farming every Ultimate eventually) but my favorite Descendant so far is absolutely Valby. I love her character, her play style, her story, she's the one I connected with almost right away.

TLDR: I am... CLEARLY... OBSESSED... WITH GLEY. 😭 I'll be honest, and it's true for most if not all, that we pick the best-looking characters. And to me, Gley was the one. When I hear her mini-monologue about her daughter every time you move the cursor to her, that small interaction appealed to me. The idea of saving the ones you love goes beyond the call of duty: it's personal. I can get behind that. Let's save your daughter. So I set out to get her, only to find out that (at the time) SHE IS THE HARDEST DESCENDANT TO ACQUIRE. Nevertheless I took on the challenge and powered through the whole game, and hundreds of hours and several months later, I got her! I was so excited and went to work right away. When I learned the idea behind her powers, I mean... the fact that she tears away at her own body like fxcking Eren Yeager to convert it into rage and bloodlust is just something that is so BADASS it makes me so hype! And the fact that she is the ONLY Descendant that doesn't use a shield just gives me the notion that she DOESN'T GIVE A FXXK! SHE WILL WALK UP TO YOUR FACE WHILE YOU ARE HELPLESSLY SHOOTING AT HER. And as you run out of bullets and cower in fear, she smirks, says, "my turn", and in one gesture SUCKS THE LIFE FORCE OUT OF YOU. FXCKING SICK! And the fact that she has a very kind and gentle face, motherly and caring, also a medic gives you that unassuming demeanor about her, only to find out... she is not entirely who you think she is. She's not just a medic: SHE'S A FXCKING VAMPIRE THAT WILL FXCKING EAT YOU ALIVE IN COLD-BLOOD. I invested so much on her, and several more hours later, I got her on a level that is just power overwhelming it's not even funny. She is so powerful that I could run extremely hard infiltrations on my own, stand up against huge hordes of Vulgus soldiers and literally tear through a single Colossus by myself. It's just so satisfying. She is so powerful they should change her title from Hope Seeker to HOPE DESTROYER, because there is no hope for you if you are fighting against a literal FXCKING MONSTER. Her costume designs are so cool as well, but the one that really piqued my interest was her Intensive Care Subject suit. It really made me think, "yeah at one point she lost (or will lose) her shxt and kill everyone." And it's quite obvious! A woman as POWERFUL as her needs to be kept in check. Spoiler alert. And then I come across this video and only now do I truly know the full backstory, and it's so tragic that I actually teared up a little. The fact that she lost her whole family but one (her daughter Dia) during the war, so she tried to protect her by sheltering her, only for her to join Albion behind her back and get captured with her mother, witness her be turned into a lab rat and experimented on, injected with all sorts of shxt and DNA and whatever the fxck is so fxcking insane I completely understand why Gley lost her shxt! NOW HER INTENSIVE CARE SUBJECT SUIT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. I mean, to witness your only family left get torn to shreds on a fxcking bed by aliens who couldn't give a fxck about her screams of pain is MORE than enough for someone to go mad! I cannot WAIT for her story missions! It better be the most gut-wrenching, heart-stopping story ever, because my parasocial relationship towards this character goes beyond insane a little (obviously). She better find her daughter, but I won't even be surprised if she literally turns into a villain and try to kill everyone in Albion, ESPECIALLY if her daughter dies, because then, that Hope Seeker will be no more.
