For only being a "casual fan", I really appreciate your honest opinions and attention to details for each song on every album. I hold a similar view on the vast majority of your opinions & takes, and our rankings actually are not too far off fromone another. I did a full listenthrough of the MegaDave/deth discography last quarter of 2023 (also extensively scored via specific criteria for an album-ranking list), and to my surprise you are the only other fan (non-writer) to rank 'Emdgame in the 'top 3"! Credit to you, brotha, for keeping this half-hour-long review interesting and fun at times with your humor & musical ability for quick demonstrations. Since I made my album ranking between 7-10 months ago, my opinion on all the albums, which I frequently alternate listening to CDs, all my opinions on the songs have remained the same, save for a few songs: "These boots" (cover), "Take no prisoners", "Skin of my teeth", and "Never walk alone... A call to arms". Each of these songs I've grown to like more- only on the context of listening to them alone, as opposed to a full-disc playthrough like I did for all the albums. I have the opposite view on Countdown and Youthanasia. I 've never been a fan of these talking songs, while Youthanasia works just fine for me. I love the opening, ballad, Killing Road. Great stuff. Countdown I used to rank at the bottom. Endgame - fine album but there is nothing special for me. But Dystopia...oh man! I actually never much liked the band... because of Countdown . But I heard Dystopia and decided to give Dave another try. Thanks to this album I became a fan. i don't even hate Countdown now 😅 I am yet to be convinced by the new album.

I actually don't like Rust in Peace that much. I don't know what it is. For every other album I'm where most Megadeth fans are. Peace Sells and Countdown to Extinction are therefore #1 and #2 for me.

I only love the first 6 Megadeth albums. After Youthanasia the albums are bad, mediocre or forgettable/boring. There are some killer songs but they are on bad albums in my opinion. My ranking: 1.
