Man, s4 is my fav season as well, but episode 7 really feels like the proper ending to the season. And the next 3 episodes are kinda just there and only exist to kill of garmadon. They couldve ended the season at episode 7 and no one wouldve complained. Kais arc comes full circle, skylors does, even COLES does! They get reunited with zane, kai saves the day, becomes evil for a bit. And comes up with a master plan. Its a really fun episode to watch all around. Also who doesnt love the "positive thinking!". corridor of elders, the actual fight itself vs the anacondrai if u rewatch it is laughably bad. They kinda just grab each others hands and push at each other back and forth and back and forth (PAUSE) it was hardly a fight. It also took a little too long to get the fight going. It doesnt really get started till like halfway through the episode and we still gotta fit in lloyds flashbacks garmadons death/ sacrifice, chens loss and the aftermath of the battle. I would have loved a really long epic fight, where at first lloyd tells his father not to go through with the sacrifice but then as time passes and lloyd realizes they are losing and this is the only hope he lets go of all personal bias and does the "execution". That would have been so cool to see! Also since this is still a kai season and he doesnt really do much post episode 7/8, we can have him get in on tons of action and maybe even start to take more of a leadership role, with Lloyd promoting him as the new leader of the elemental alliance when Lloyd heads off to the Bounty with Pythor. Acknowledging what Kai said with the staff (which is never really brought up again) and letting him be the one in the spotlight for once. We can also focus on more of the elemental masters because i feel like a lot of them mainly Shade, Tox, Bolobo, Gravis and Ash. Werent really given enough to do. The only ones I think got enough screentime and characterization are Skylor Karloff Neuro and Jacob.

I hope they get on Netflix before September 1st because that's when my school starts.

Skybound, Rebooted, and Tournament of Elements have the best finales period. Skybound's ending was really beautiful, and I don't need to explain Rebooted. Garmadon's sacrifice is reason enough for Tournament to be one of the best finales. Master of the Mountain was also incredible, it holds my second favorite spot. Seabound was okay, but the final battle honestly barely made any sense and I really disliked it.

Tbh you need quite a few things to make a good final battle. Time, character involvement, tone, visual appeal, and most importantly the fight itself. S9 has all of these, which Is why it's my favorite. It has the time to make a good finale. The entire episode is one battle. So there is time to build stakes, like wu falling of a building, during said fight, have some dreadful or hopeful moments, and build up. As for character involvement I don't mean add as many characters as possible, but incorporate every single character that just needs to be involved. In him this case, every ninja and wu and garmadon were the only characters we needed. And we didnt need to waste time trying to get the ninja to fight with garmadon, cause they didnt need to. That was a family matter. Visual appeal. The battle looks good. The night time brightly lit city, the glowing stone giant surrounded by dragons. Than we have a man in green fighting a man in black and purple. Tone, I love the rather ominous feel when lloyd and wu fight the new and more powerful garmadon, as it shows that this is not only just a tragedy now, but rather also a scary situation. A final boss. That contrasted with the heroic tone of the ninja taking down the colossus, with the help of allies later. The music during the battle was one of ninjagos best pieces. All the way from garmadon picking lloyd up from falling from a building, to lloyd getting his powers back and the colossus crumbling. And ofcourse the fight itself. Tbh the fight choreography isnt TOO great. The animation does get clunky at times, and the ninja could definitely have done more than just shoot chains at a giant. But I'll forgive it because they actually have the villain maximizing his powers, along with weapons being used, and having kai run around on the titan was glorious. And I like dragons.

one thing i will say about ninjago is stop giving us crap seasons, right now most seasons are either absolute bangers or just why did u need to do this? Season 8 and 9 are bangers 10 for most people including me is just why?!?!? (they should have made it a full 10 episodes) 11 is also just why 12 is ehhhh 13 is a banger 14 is just why 15 is for the most part good idrk it has good moments but if u look at the season as a whole its not really a banger more of just a good season. If they start making every season as emotional and powerful as ending such as season 2, 3, 5, 9, 15 it would be better. also bring back the time twins for the love of god. Maybe they will be back in season 16 and then thats how they save nya by going back in time or something, because this is supposed to be either a Kai or Jay season so if it is a kai season i can see the time twins being brought back, but pls its been 8 seasons lmao. Seabound's finale is my all-time favourite. I just loved the darker tone it had with Ninjago City basically becoming a sea, Jay almost DYING, Wojira running wild and Nya merging with her element. Seabound overall was my favourite Ninjago season of all time. Everything about was just PERFECTION.

I don’t like the Ice Chapter’s finale. Or most of it in general. I know everyone says that the Ice Chapter is so amazing, and better than the Fire Chapter. I think that the Ice Chapter is better than the Fire chapter, but not by much. It has a lot of the same problems as the Ice chapter, has a rushed finale, useless filler episodes, not enough development for the Ice Emperor. Stuff like that. I think the its better to instead of ranking the finale rank the finale episode as a whole. In some cases rank the finale 2 episodes for possesion and season 15. BEcause if u were to rank the finale episode i think season 1 would be alot higher, that shit was my favorite episode back in the day

I didn't like S3's finale because it had no explanation. Like Zane just explodes and the Overlord dies too. I really liked S10 and S4 because how the enemies were defeated actually made sense (creation defeats destruction, etc)

Overall a very solid tier list, I think there'd be a few things I'd switch up but it wouldn't be anything major I think you got most of the endings where they belong....(except the ending to season 11 that thing was awful)
