Hey I know this is late but space-time distortions are on a time limit. They can go for five minutes to 40 minutes. Five minutes is the smallest chance that they will appear while 40 minutes guarantees you a space-time distortion. Also keep in mind that opening The pause menu and battling will pause the timer. And each time you enter a new region The timer will reset. You can watch a video about how space-time distortions work from Austin John. Hope this helps.

quick tip for anyone wanting the 2 starters they didn't pick, simply talk to the professor in his lab/office after completing the main story and he'll give them to you another tip, you have a chance to get the item to evolve scyther into kleavor from graveler. just battle or catch them and you should be able to get it in under 10 minutes

eevee is actually one of the earliest pokes i pick up in any run as you can just find it to your left in the first area. You can friendship evolve it around lv19 or go for a leafeon with calm mind which imo kinda breaks the game.

Ironically craniados was my first rate encounter in a space time distortion. And one I've not ever ran into before ( I've started over atleast three times. Once not fully beating it second time I did beat it. Third time just playing and filling Dex.) I failed horribly then wound up got into one again and just my luck alpha rampardos xD and shieldon. Wound up getting that. Also I have found 4 shinies just running through in each restart the first two one a peace. The last one I'm on I got two in a span of hours apart. The shiny statistics in this game even without the outbreaks or shiny charm are just amazing. XD

Hard spawn for me was Monferno I only ever saw one it ran away or i killed it i eventually evolved Chimchar to get one. I accidentally found Landorous whilst trying to lvl up through Alpha Enfernape by going back and forth. It almost killed me lol I ended up using 2 wing balls one to remove its wind and the other to capture it it worked on 2nd try.

Catching every pokemon unlocks the final battle vs Arceus, completing the pokedex (research level 10) with every pokemon unlocks the shiny charm.

you need all evolutions. if you're looking to get level 10 research for every pokémon (needed for shiny charm, not needed to catch Arceus i think) make sure you get full research of one stage before evolving it just in case the pokémon is rare

They only spawn because they are only available at night not because they are respawning. The only way to respawn a Pokémon is to catch/defeat them all or go back to jubilife village and go back and check
