Wesle didn't mess up Trinity, the directors did. WS felt disrespected in Trinity. The original blade had such a multicultural cast, and the directors didn't care to do that in Trinity. Wesle also didn't feel as included, and didnt like the direction the movie was going. If he really did the post its move, its probably because he didnt feel heard.

@@agi238 I don't follow Comic Cons, so I hadn't heard that. I've just Googled it and I have to say the new logo/graphics look dire. I must admit, I haven't seen any of Marvel's Netflix series, like Daredevil or The Punisher. However I just hope the new Blade reboot is more 'Deadpool', 'Venom' [different studios, I realise] or 'Logan', than 'Disney-fied' to become an x-rated 'High School Musical'. Haha.

Blade 2 is the best of the trilogy. 1 is amazing too. 3 was a bit disappointing (totally hated the casting choice and look of dracula). But it's still a blade movie. Love the whole trilogy. Cant wait to see the mcu version of blade. Would've preferred a tv series as they could go really in depth. But a movie will be equally appreciated. Cant wait.

The first blade is more of a horror/action than the other two which lean more directly to action. Many factors imo make the 98' Blade the best. Its general much darker tone in its music and cinematography. Best story of the 3. And that ending scene in Russia is one of my fav, how it cuts to the credits. Pitch Black was the same 1 was a darker and cooler horror action and the others were not the same, definitely no horror

I loved the first Blade movie the best! It was pure fun! Even though Blade Trinity was still supposed to be a BLADE movie, it seemed as if the producers were trying to give the best lines to Reynolds!

Not ratting on you, just wanna gush a bit since I recently rewatched the fimls. But the reason for that beginning scene in Blade 1 is to introduced every one of the major 'villains' as well as blade. You see blonde haired vampire(I legit dont remember them really ever saying her name), Frost, and Quinn in the club while also getting a glimpse of the vampire world and tbh how they are sorta fotter mainly to blade. It also sets up for how and why blade might run into a hematologist as well as why we are to even see the scene where Frost is first properly introduced(with his name being called and everything) and then his standing and interaction with the council, while simultaneously introducing the beginning of his reasoning behind what he is doing in the movie and his conflicting position in the vampire society. The scenes of them in the rave put subtle notice to each of these characters. They stand out more-so then the rest of the crowd. Ontop of that I love how well written the story is in the fact that so many things seem "deus ex' or "oh that just happens what a coincidence or bs" but in fact usually has an explanation. Blade showing up at the hospital? He wasnt able to confirm he finished off quinn, and he notes that as he walks up "I came to finish you off". Karen knowing how to release blade from the sarcophagus near the end of the film? Without thinking much on it and simply seeing it yeah its like "really? She just KNOWS how to do that? " Well no, she worked with whistler to decode the drive with the schematic and all the information/instructions on how it all worked. Giving her an idea of how to release him and also sorta know her way around the place. The ancient text translates into a 3d diagram and slide show of sorts? No, Pearl not only helped decode it he meticulously worked on it to build the diagram we see, that was his job. You see most of it on his monitor's during his scene. Don't even get me start on how much I adored Frosts whole character Arc throughout the movie. The actor Stephen Dorff simply did a fantastic job and the character was also just well written in my opinion.

Here’s my ranking 3)Blade Trinity:Enjoyable film with loads of actions sequences but there are many plot issues and not a fan of the new characters and Dracula could’ve been better. I did not like the use it line. There was no character improvement. I’d rate it a (5/10) 2)Blade II:Fun film with enjoyable new characters. Loved the action here and Nomak was a beast. Story was definitely better than the third film. And overall superior than blade trinity. Amazing Finale & Ending. Small Plot issues were here but it didn’t matter much. I liked blade in 1&2. I’d Rate it a (7.5/10) 1)Blade:Ahh yes my favourite Blade film with nice characters. Loved Whistler’s portrayal here. Frost was amazing, This film has the best storyline. And the final battle was amazing! Blade was funny in this film and I liked him the best in this film! Opening scene was good. I didn’t like the frost death scene but it was made in 1998 so I’ll give it a pass. This is ur average Sunday MovieNight film. I’d rate this a (8/10)

It's funny because I just happened to be watching Blade Trinity right now as l type this comment, and it is by far the worst one. But because of my love for the character and the entire concept, l still watch it from time to time. But I still think that the 1st Blade is the best because it had a great villain in Stephen Dorff playing Deacon Frost. I thought he had great charisma and I thought he gave a us a great performance. It was almost as good as Heath Ledger when he played the Joker in the Dark Knight...in my opinion. All superhero movies needs a great villain in order for it to be successful....in my opinion.
