Very good video. Good graphics, good audio, and most importantly, great programming instructions. Yes, you created this video for an airplane. But, this also works for my multi-rotor aircraft, where we have full acro, angle, and horizon modes available with the newer firmwares, for the flight controller boards. I spent 3 hrs on Christmas Eve night trying my own solutions and these did not work. Then, I found your video. Viola. Perfect, it works on my DX6i transmitter, just like on your DX6i Monitor screen.

Thank you for this video, you definitely saved the day! I bought a parkzone Sukhoi SU 29mm yesterday and it had it's maiden flight this morning. I was getting extreme oscillation with the elevators going up and down rapidly in fast flight. Mode 1 is Stagility mode and the manual says you will get oscillation at high speed in this mode Mode 2 is 3D flight mode and the manual says you will get oscillation at high speed in this mode Mode 3 is Precision mode and the manual says this is for fast flight. I was getting oscilliation in all 3 modes but i now realize that the mode 3 just wasn't working! So thanks again (0: Liked and subscribed

Thanks for your answers 3 weeks ago. I am used to fly on low DR and exp (typ. 60 % - 40 % on both ail and elev). Should I use the DR and exp as well in beguinner and / or intermediate mode ? WIll SAFE mode override these ? Thanks

On the dx6i when you switch it to safe mode does the red light on the plane turn blue because I have a dx6i and I would like to get it to work with my ultrix but I don't know how to get it to go into safe mode I have another spectrum that I use and when I flip the switch it actually turns the light on the plane from red to blue

do you need to do this prior to binding with the receiver? I have a sportsman S plus and followed the steps you provided to a T and i cant get it to react to the auto correct feature.the receiver is the stock Spektrum A3172.

Good day. I did the setup indicated in the video in my dx6i binded with the SAFE Rx in a Bix 3 plane. I would have thought that the "expert" mode would disable all leveling controlling functions. This does not happen at least on the ground. Is it necessary to turn off the Rx and move the switches on the dx6i to and turn back on the SAFE Rx to establish the mode desired ? Do the dip switches on the SAFE Rx have any effect? I tried just about everithing and could not activate the "expert" mode as expected. If this is so the expert mode is also restricting flight manouvering. Thanks in advance. Enrique.

hi, what rx are we talking about? on horizon SAFE ... the expert mode does turn off self leveling and the restriction to a certain bank angle ... but as3x still stays turned on (if the rx has as3x that is ..)

Thanks. It is the EFLR310013 (SAFE Spektrum Rx that comes with the Apprentice). I am in the middle of solving the reversion of ailerons servos as I installed the Rx on the Bix 3 and these are inverted. I thought the expert mode had no restrictions on bank and climb - dive angles.

Hey I have a simple question, when setting up the Panic Button, you need to go to the FLAPS menu on your Dx6i, but here do you only need to put the FLAP column in NORM ↑100 LAND ↓100; or do you need to also put the ELEV column in NORM ↑100 LAND ↓100 ?

sorry. im a little late, but ... flaps only (!) leave the elev setting alone. it would be very bad if your elevator goes to full down position in mid air. :)

i have the super cub, has the self levelling and safety switch etc like this plane, can i change the settings and do this as well so my plane can roll ????

hi, the plane in my video is a super cub too. :) (i just repainted it) all the settings i explain in this video work for the super cub. BUT(!) ... i build ailerons into the wing of my super cub. so it has a higher roll rate. you can roll your super cub with rudder controll too, but it will roll very slow and loose a lot of altitude while rolling. so if you do: fly very high and put the nose up before attempting a roll. have fun!
