Even though he only got 27th, Haakon is one of the greatest in my eyes. The commander deck I made for him is one of the funnest decks I own since you basically have to do a side quest just to cast him haha. Plus being able to recast a kicked Josu from the graveyard is a great time.

Trump has denounced racism on a dozen occasions. I'm not American so I don't have any skin in the game and don't have any interest in getting in a political debate. But if you pretend that he hasn't then you're either being disingenuous or ignorant and that's just a fact. Love him our hate him, I couldn't care less, certainly there are enough legitimate things to dislike him for without having to make stuff up. You just weaken your own position by lying about your enemies, if you're actually better than them you can criticize things they're actually guilty of.

He pushed for years racist made up conspiracies against his political rivals, and openly encouraged harassment of minority advocates on multiple occasions. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Him paying lip service to "let's all not be racist and be together" while systematically behaving in a diametrically opposed way to said buzzwords is so incredibly easy to see through, that it seems that the one being disingenuous is you my friend.

Thanks for this. I learned a lot of new lore, particularly about Varina and Sedris. Varina is a lot more interesting than I had thought in passing if she has access to essentially infinite zombies with powers that sound somewhere between Teferi's and Liliana's. This list did make me realize how weird it is that only a few of the Legendary Zombies can return from the grave repeatedly by themselves though. It also made me realize that so far the only Zombie Vedalken we have gotten is the rather forgettable Vedalken Ghoul, though technically it might be the first card with Afflict. Maybe we'll get a zombified Dovin Baan as a legendary card in Return to Return to Return to Ravnica given _Forsaken_ isn't just being retconned out of existence unfortunately.

Pedantic nitpick alert: Haakon is pronounced "HA-kun" with a short "a". IRL, Haakon is a somewhat common Norwegian name, being most closely associated with several kings of Norway. Actually, the story of Haakon IV's rescue from certain assassination as an infant ("Two noble warriors secretly escort baby Haakon and his mother through 50km of enemy territory and a fierce blizzard! Will they reach safety?!") would fit in well with the Magic lore.
