Angels played in LA for decades before the Dodgers showed up. In 1961, the 1st first few years of Angels being in the MLB, they actually played in LA. They shared a stadium with the Dodgers until both teams relocated

Don't worry. Next year every team will have 8+ jersey's all in different colors of the crayola box and different fonts with cringe nicknames on the front. See the NBA... Blue Jays will be in gold that says "The 6", Reds will be in purple that says "The Natti", Red Sox will go from yellow to green, Yankees will be in red, Royals in orange, you name it. These are just guesses, but sadly probably not far from the truth.

Technically The Rays play in St. Petersburg, which has the nickname, "The Sunshine City" Or they could just put St. Petersburg along the front of the jersey. If you want to be technically the nickname for Tampa is, "The Big Guava" But since they are in St. Petersburg put that along the fount of the jersey, or put The Sunshine City. However I still like the jersey this is just for technical reasons only.

The Seattle Mariners and Seattle Pilots are actually two entirely different franchises. Seattle came into the MLB in 1969 as the Pilots and played one year just to relocate to Milwaukee and become the Brewers. Seattle came back into the league in 1977 as the Mariners.
