All 36 Abilities at ★ Power, Spending 378 Rare Stones! | Kirby and the Forgotten Land

I love some of the skins of the abilities. Clutter Needle is an homage to Kirby 64, which I wish more abilities did. Sword having Meta Knight and Morpho Knight versions and Hammer having a DeDeDe version is awesome, I also like how they have hats for Sword, Hammer and Freeze that reference the new versions of Mr. Frosty, Bonkers and Giant Edge. I think Space Ranger’s gun might reference those guys with the laser guns in the Access Ark in Planet Robobot. I also would’ve liked to see more references to similar abilities in the past, like Drill having a version that references the Animal ability that preceded it, or one that referenced the Robobot Armour

My favorite Copy Abilities and their Evolved Forms in KatFL are Morpho Knight Sword, Meta Knight Sword, Masked Hammer, Toy Hammer, Dragon Fire, Blizzard Ice, Space Ranger, Storm Tornado, Chakram Cutter, Crash (original and Time), and Deep Sleep.

Yeah, they're pretty cool! I totally could imagine a Wild Drill ability or homing bomb having the robobot's walking bombs (buzzsaw cutter reminds me of the robobot's version if cutter)

When I was looking for videos on the fastest way to farm or grind for more Rare Stones within about less than a minute, I found a few. There is a helpful glitch that lets you obtain Rare Stones without going through many battles; just one where you fight Wild Frosty and Wild Bonker only. The only Evolved Copy Ability you need is Toy Hammer+★ in order to perform that glitch.

You can circle around enemies with drill for more explosive damage, and with deep sleep you can cause damage with the bed if you are close enough.

@@water5082 just found out about a glitch where you use the wild hammer ability to get over the wall and into the colosseum, you fight two bosses and you're done. It doesn't keep your time but the professor waddle see does so you may see crazy short colosseum times online. I haven't mastered the hammer thing yet though

Holy shit you already finished the grind?! Go off dude! I'm only like 1/8 done. Have you also looked at maxing out the gotchas? Can you get a crown on the non-unique ones? If the max is 99, then it would take like 1700 Meta Knight Cup runs to max them out. Edit: The max is indeed 9 and you do get a crown like with the unique ones. However, you can still get repeats after that, so it will take 200+ more runs of the Meta Knight Cup. However, since you no longer need Rare Stones at that point, there may be a faster way to grind Star Coins. Edit 2: Fishing is indeed said faster way of grinding only Star Coins. So much fishing... Edit 3: I have finished the grind myself. So you know how the gotchas are biased in your favor? Well that's only for getting the 1st one. Have fun getting 9 of each non-unique with fair odds!

I had wondered about that while playing - the way the crown appears over the number, implies the crown means you have the max, rather than it being a unique. The most I have of any gotcha is like 4 or something though. Unless you have over 9 of one of them, it might even have a single digit limit.

My theory for why Tier 1 abilities are stronger is because every time you level up the abilities, the additive of power being added is the same for each ability and since Tier 1 abilities get to level up more than the Tier 3 or 4's, they're getting buffed a LOT more to the point where the base power of the Tier 3 and 4's is getting outclassed. An example would be if Ranger had a power base or 10 while Space Ranger had a base of 40. Ranger starts at level 1 and Space Ranger starts at level 4. Abilities can only go up to level 6 so Space Ranger can level up 2 times while Ranger can level up 5 times. If we pretend the additive for leveling up is 20, that means at max level up, Space Ranger would be 40+(20x2) which is 80 while Ranger is 10+(20x5) which is 110. So in this case a Max Level Ranger would be stronger than a Max Level Space Ranger.

As well as the 4th tier upgrade for sword and hammer and you have to beat morpho knight to get one and beat the game for masked hammer and then there’s powering them up

@@GMKGoji01 The fastest and only way of farming them is doing the arena over and over again. You can clear the easiest one every ~ 3 minutes with one of the two broken abilities. This still takes way too long :(

@@trabbyy950 the "two broken abilities" are not the only broken abilities. Mr. Sand bag doesn't do these skills justice. E.g. Space Ranger has a special attack that can only be activated in bullet time after a successful dodge. With the waddle dee item shop you can get your time down on ultimate cup Z to under 9 minutes per run. Not much faster but much more satisfying IMO. Apparently there are people out there using Toy Hammer+ to beat ultimate cup Z in less than 3 minutes without item shop upgrades.

While using the Meta Knight Sword ability, it took me approximately 2.5 minutes to play through the Meta Knight Cup for each Rare Stone (and 500 Star Coins each time) I earn. About 2 minutes while using Morpho Knight Sword+★. I'd say between 800 - 1,000 minutes (or 13 - 16 hours). Unless I am mistaking.

Yeah probably a hack, but there is a trick with hammer you can do -fly until Kirby gets tired -spit out the air and hold y to do the ground bounce attack -as soon as you land, start mashing/holding b to fly You go super high and if you go out of bounds to enter the coliseum door before selecting a cup, it puts you into a bugged Meta Knight Cup with only one fight (I recommend you find a video of how to do it)

So far, the only way to farm for more Rare Stones is to play the Meta Knight Cup hundreds of times. But for me, I'd rather power up the last-tier Evolved Abilities (and the original Crash ability). If anything, there should be an update patch where it adds area for mining and/farming for more Rare Stones faster than the Colosseum battles.

I don’t think there is a “fast way” to get them, but the only consistent method I know of is to grind the hell out of the meta night cup (the first one) in the colosseum, and that’ll give you 1 rare stone per 2 and a half minutes roughly. Hoped this helped.
