I would like to rectify you somewhere. That's starting from when the kingdom got the BUGANDA name, otherwise, it was called MUWAWA at first and so there are more than 50 kings before changing the name.

Where did the first Uganda (muganda) come from ??

He was created by the Creator of heaven and earth- Katonda ( create= tonda) as the first man. His name is Kintu and his wife who joined him later, is Nambi. Nabi was the only daughter of Katonda. Katonda had 2 sons. Kayikuuzi, the holly one and Walumbe the evil hearted rebelious son. When Nambi visited the earth, she admired Kintu who was in human form and she asked God to let her live with handsome man Kintu. ( Kintu means a "thing") She was allowed by in secret never to releave to her brother Walumbe that she's leaving to go to the earth, and never to come back because if she does so, she and her children will be haunted by evil Walumbe. Nambi left but before she reached, she had forgotted her hen's sogham and her cow's feed. she went back and that was the beginning of Nambi s disobedience coming down to earth and into her children and grand children which Walumbe capitalized on and descended to earth too. Walumbe dug over 200 underground channels at Ttanda , central Buganda. They are over 90 ft deep with underground network, his hideout whenever Kayikuuzi chased him. No one has ever dared go there and came back alive. Not even those adventurous bazungu- abazungazunga mu nsi. So, 1st man and woman was in Buganda, at either Gulu or walusinsi or nnono ( ive forgotten). Kabaka Kato Kintu was not the first man. He lived about 900 years ago and was not the first leader of the country Muwawa which later changed name to Buganda by Kabaka Kintu and elders.
