I have two problems with this tier list : 1) the madness talisman : mostly useful in PvP, can be used for Midra or buff stacking. But a mostly PvP talisman is almost useless in PvE, buff stacking is almost like a meme and needs some specific builds to work, which the average player won’t use, and getting buffed after being hurt by Midra isn’t a viable way to make the fight easier. You are just better suited with a fire protection or a frenzy protection. It would be max at bottom B, and I am generous 2) the fp regen talisman : you basically have infinite fp. It’s an alternative or a great combination with the ancestral spirit horn in dungeons, and it does require you to fight an annoying boss, makes more place for healing flasks, is so early in the dlc I am surprised it’s not given directly. At least S tier

What are you yapping about, the Madness Setup gives you the biggest damage boost without even entering the Boss Arena out of anything. Prolly incredible in like a Fire Build with the Frenzy Sniper Skill.

The talisman of all crucibles is such a huge talisman for rl1 or hitless runs, i think putting it in the very last spot is unjustified

The list was heavily for PvE casual to kinda KWTD players. Obviously, it will different for no hit runners/challenge runners.

I was doing a challenge where I tame x3 damage taken. The challenge was basically: no armor except scarab helmets, both soreseals, dedicar's woe, and talisman of all crucibles. Sadly I gave up at Messmer. I can't git gud enough to no-hit him.

The lacerating crossed tree talisman enhances running attacks, not backstep attacks. I believe it should be ranked higher because not only does it increase damage from running attacks, it increases it by a considerable amount

I am aware. It enhances both backsteps and running attacks. The running attacks are just not worth using and imo outclassed by jump attacks. 10 times easier to proc. For the sake of the video, I cut out some extra info for it not to be too long.

Blade of Mercy is useless at NG+7 as bosses have high posture and really difficult to stagger

Talisman of the dread also works great with the criminally underrated magma wyrm great sword. Two handed sword talisman + Shard of Alex + Fire Scorpion Charm + Talisman of the Dread. Big dmg.

The most of the A tier talismans you have on this list are for only one or two builds and ONLY that, they don't deserve to be on A tier in my opinion, like rellana cameo + the footwork talisman + smithing talisman + the dried bouquet is honestly really bad cuz it don't stack and don't give you enough time for the damage buff .. only my opinion tho and thanks for the list

outer god heirloom adds a hunk to the discovery.. so its kinda nice for farming i guess... thats the only positive thing i could come up with :)

Most brain death tier list. CHALLENGE RUNNERS/STYLISH GAMEPLAY LOVE BUFF TALISMAN’s WITH DAMAGE ABSORPTION DRAWBACKS! Because if your game play doesn’t allow/plan to get hit, trading an ability for taking more damage is GREAT! We all know the famous RTSR. But the new Backstep i-frame option is GREAT. And even back in DS3, there was a ring that increased rolling i-frames at the cost of taking more damage. And there is also the Gundyr chain for more stamina in exchange for damage… so when I did a casual no hit on NG+7 guess what I used!

The list is defintely not for challenge runners. The majority of the top talismans are MASSIVE buffs, speedrunners or not. The bottom list has literally small to no benefits even for speedrunners. The dashes are just inferior to doges, period. For stylish gameplay, i guess. That literally leaves you with Talisman of all crucibles. It is the only exception and adds 3 s to dodges, not the most important thing in the world.

⁠@@OUSAYT💀 Bro. Speedrunners don’t enter this conversation. CHALLENGE RUNNERS/Stylish play. Like a RL1 character that gets 1 shot after the bubble or a cool boss kill. A speedrunner is limited by SPEED. As in they turned the game into homework and therefore they won’t explore to get the OP stuff like base game shard of Alexander. Speedrunners have NOTHING to do with this conversation.

That Talisman is underrated. If you don't rely on AoWs for attacking, but rather for buffing. You basically can forego blue flasks completely. My Ganondorf character uses Braggart's Roar and Golden Vow (hey, look, in my mind, it's him using the Triforce of Power). Couple this with Boiled Crabs, the Dragon Towershield talisman, and the defense boosting Physic. And you have a rather tanky character. (Like, he could tank Consort [REDACTED]'s hits in NG+).

Metyr uses holy damage? Her attacks aren’t gold. Also why would anyone use the 2 handed talisman? It’s too dangerous to not use a shield and as heavy armor as you can carry.
