Michael's knife is a bit bland visually, but it's cool if you think about it. The whole point is that he doesn't need a fancy weapon to kill you; he can kill you with any object he happens to find laying around. It shows his ability to improvise and his effectiveness as a killer.

Sadako's audio design is so spot on. The static of her approaching and about to manifest is creepy alone but once coupled with the powerful force of her hit and you see the symbol, it's so intimidating. All of this without a single human noise makes her even more like a spirit. Blight's weapon is pretty cool too if you remember he's based off of Jekyll and Hyde. 😊

The community is weird. How on earth did simple knives and Trapper's cleaver outrank Skully's blades, the Twins' sickle, and Trickster's bat? There's so much personality oozing outta them! The only knife's ranking on this list I agree with is Pig's because it is very roguelike which makes it pretty dang cool.

Not to mention should take into account how those weapons are used in the moris as Twins uses hers to hook on parts of the survivor and rip it through them. Much more interesting than many of the others where they just get stabbed/slashed ones or several times.

I rate weapons based on how funny they are when you pair them with mad grit. The funniest are the oversized weapons (Pyramid Head's great knife, Knight's claymore) and the "catch these hands" killers (Demo, Nemmy, Hag, Xenomorph)

Deathslinger and Spirit's weapons are my favorite. Spirit's katana is just the most unique looking with one of the best weapon wipe animations in the game. Meanwhile, Deathslinger I appreciate for it's practicality. Everyone else is bringing blades to chase Survivors down and Deathslinger goes "Imma just use a gun."

Trickster's bat being so low makes me so sad. It's a cool and very unique weapon design, but I think character bias is probably playing a role in its position. People will always downvote anything related to him because they don't like his character and style, even when trying to look at something objectively. You can really see that in how high Wesker and Ghostface's weapons are. They are so simple, but just because the characters are popular, they're automatically going to get more points.

So true, Trickster has the most aesthetically pleasing weapons in my opinion. They stand out the most, like I cant believe Trappers scrap of a cleaver is rated higher or Myers bland af kitchen knife i can find in my kitchen Same for Wesker and Ghostie Hell, Ghostface has a Hunting Knife and LEGION has the Tactical knife (classic bhvr mixup) And Wesker has the same knife as Legion albeit Hunk

Gotta disagree, trickster as a whole feels really stupid and stiff. The bat is just a stupid idea for a weapon, feels like they asked a kid "if you could have a weapon what would it be?" Anf the kid said "I want a bat with a blade on it". His animations for regressing gens feels like an older brother playing with a younger siblings and pretending to break something. Overall, I think the ranking was justified, he's a very boring killed to play, and go against (I say as a killer main) and was made just for kpop stans to fawn over. Bottom of the barrel killer, and bottom of the barrel animations. His design is alright though

@@pancakes8816 I disagree as well. The fact its the only killer with a customised bladed bat is creative compared to countless killers that have a knife. And its not a nailed bat like we see in zombie flicks nor a barbed bat like in Walking Dead. Its a tricked out custom made aluminum bat with a blade or spikes that acts like a modern mace. The fact its called a Head Smasher is rather also grizzly and scary sounding. Its much better then Michaels, Ghostfaces, Legions, Weskers knives And the question "If I have a weapon what could it be" yes. Bladed bat is better then a knife, more range between you and the attacker or such. The fact the bat goes from a blunt to a bladed instrument is a significant upgrade.

@@FinestFantasyVI not really, a blade on a bat would be a shit weapon. A bat is a slow and clunky weapon, a sword is a fast and smooth weapon. Has to be otherwise it won't keel. You're more likely to break the blade instead of doing any significant damage with it. For that, use an axe instead, range, AND can cut. Besides, wasn't tricksters whole deal getting really close and personal with the target? Which, ironically would be best suited for a knife. Since he's such an arrogant and flashy guy, give him a raiper, its a light and fast blade. Actually makes sense instead of a bat with a blade tacked on it. And id thats the route you'd take, why not just switch to a naginata? Since yknow, that actually does his bladed bats job well and doesn't run the risk of breaking apart in 2 because you wanted to be le cool quirky ebic flashy killer!!11!! As for the name. You don't name your weapons, it always turns out cringe and stupid. I wouldn't be intimidated if someone said "this here's my skullcrusher" my first thought would be "what? You let your kid pick that name?" Only time id be intimidated by that name is if a sledgehammer was named that. Since yeah that makes sense. A bladed baseball bat??? Cmon son, after a good whack the metal will come off, you'll be embarrassed, and then have to just use the bat like normal. Which could have been done all along if you didn't add that piece of garbage on the side lmfao. I'm just saying, he feels like someone's OC straight out of wattpad. Not an actual killer you'd be scared of. His animations and designs don't do him any favors either. Which is my point, I can see why he's ranked so low. I feel like Clown's is a bit underrated due to the fact that his "butterfly knife" isn't actually a butterfly knife and it's... well, Clown. But I do think the way he spins his knife around his fingers skillfully after a successful hit is really cool looking along with the feather pattern and fits his character really well despite being a large dude walking at Mach 1 throwing piss clouds and laughing at you.

I firmly believe that Skull Merchants weapon was only so low because people just bandwagon hate everything about her. Her weapon design is dope, her animation is satisfying and most of her weapon cosmetics change the weapon and animation quite drastically and they’re all also good. The hydraulic blade is my favourite weapon in the game, looks like a mantis blade from Cyberpunk.

I disagree. The idea of an arm blade is cool, but the fact that it's literally ducktaped to her arm despite her supposedly being a engineer prodigy brings it down a lot for me. Combined with how stupid she looks walking around with it with her arm bent upward like that, and her carrying animation looks even dumber. I also disagree with the animation being satisfying, at least on the survivor end, though that's piggybacking off the uncanny and unrealistic nature of her pose. It'd look better if she just had her arm down by her side. There's also the fact that the weapon serves no practical purpose. It's a contraption she built instead of a held weapon for no reason besides it being flashier and more distinct, but is again undercut by it being ducktaped to her arm. The only point of bias I really have is that I find her grunts when she attacks really annoying, bland, and unfitting, which compounds with why I think her attack animations aren't satisfied. The rest of my points I feel you'd be hard pressed to call invalid. The weapon doesn't make sense and doesn't hold up to scrutiny, and the way that she holds it doesn't make it any better.

I personally love the cattle hammers of billy and leatherface, they feel really weighty and satisfying to use. And there is just something visually entrancing about the way hag and freddy's hands move in the first person view. I love Clown's knife for no other reason than the satisfying flip out of the blade after throwing a bottle, and the brutal simplicity of trapper's machete will always land it as a favorite of mine. As much as I love Pyramid Head (And main him), I honestly disagree with his placement. I agree that the great knife is a really cool and imposing weapon, but it's a little *too* cool and imposing, to the point where it feels somewhat unsatisfying to use. The limitations brought on by the design of the game leave it feeling underwhelming whenever you swing and hit someone. (Also it takes up like half the damn screen).
