6:40 Crazy Raccoon won split 1 with Karonpe but dropped him for Jusna during split 2, so technically they havent made moves since last lan but people who dont keep up with APAC might not know about this roster change

Very nice comprehension of all the roster changes that happend if you missed it. Would have enjoyed it a bit more with some opinions on the teams and maybe more info why the changes happend but I understand you didn't keep up with it and did not have time for that

Yeah I agree. I just didn't want to come off too biased towards certain teams and especially NA teams that I know way more about. Maybe if I learn more about most teams I will try this, though.

Yeah, I could probably do that in the future. I think I just wanted to keep the formatting simple with 3 players each team and stuck with it. My only problem would be the teams with multiple staff members and differentiating them. Some teams have 2 or more coaches as well as analysts and managers. I suppose I could just list it all and figure it out. We shall see lol

Good video, but you did miss some roster changes tho Gugu is now with DF instead of 3mz i'm pretty sure. Mkers also made a roster change, they swapped our asiaz for another player

Me too. I started with ALGS just after they picked up Gild, but I did go back and watch vods of LAN with Sweet, Nafen, and Rocker playing Gibby/Caustic/Valk.

13:40, qzier came in after split 1(timmy left) and they didnt make split 2, so the old core with timmy qualified for champs. but eitherway its fucked for qzier, i liked him

I'm explaining the teams that made it and their roster/roster changes, that's what the "explained" is meant to encompass. What I am referring to in this statement is the psychology of a player(s). In this example, a team with relatively lower expectations came out on top in a major tournament. There is a lot of mental decline that can follow if the players do not immediately continue meeting/exceeding expectations. Essentially they can become complacent, underperform, then lose their confidence. The pressure is much higher after becoming a champion. Mental is absurdly important, especially in higher levels of gameplay. It's like snowballing, but in the wrong direction. This is to say, this sort of thing is not uncommon among people in any field after huge success, but especially in competitive environments.

Damn I didn't even realize. I mentioned that the team (shadow3690) qualified in the beginning during the qualification section but forgot to put them in the playoff points section smh. I think I overlooked it since they weren't technically top 32 in points and I just goofed. Thanks for pointing this out!
