Interesting analysis. Asante sana. My landing state was New York, then nikahamia New Jersey after a few years na sasa niko Washington. I guess the moves are well calculated from good to better…. From East Coast to West Coast. Driving across 8 states was fun The only thing I disagree is ati no crime in New Jersey! Oh my, some areas crime is daily drill such as Camden, Irvington and Newark. Deadly places to live in.

I have lived in the US for 45 years and lived, not visited, lived in 7 States. To me, I’d never chose any southern state. Oklahoma is the best because the cost of living is low, unemployment rate has never gone beyond 3%, colleges are affordable, and you don’t really experience racism. Crime is also very low. To me, states with big immigrant populations are not good.

When coming to USA in most cases you don’t get to choose based on these factors, you go where you can get initial basic assistance to support yourself to start life, then from there you can choose where you want to go. Number one ranked state might not be your best state.
