04:16:30 THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT! I cannot fathom WHY you believe it’s not, Otz. I’ve done some testing awhile ago, and this one extra fountain does ONE extremely powerful thing: it ALWAYS takes a more centered spot compared to others. If we take it to the extreme and go to the blackwater swamp, plague ALWAYS has 5 pools in corners and one in the middle. With ashen apple, she now has 2 pools in the middle. Therefore, instead of 1 in 6 chance of getting a good basekit corrupt pool, she has a 2/7.

It seems to me that pools’ spawns are tied to those of chests, and preferably spawn on the outer regions of the maps - and on certain maps like blackwater there’s a whole lot of them on the edges.

small correction: it actually goes up to 11/21, which is even more than 50% (there is 21 (7c2) possible pool spawn, and 11 of which has at least one corrupt in the middle) so all in all it does even more than you initially think

Clarifications on Ghostface: Drivers license specifices that the regression only applies once, if you stalk multiple survivors on a gen it only does 20% Also, outdoor security cameras reveal ALL survivors everywhere, not just outside your terror radius. If a survivor is right next to you, you will see them. The Monocular also was recently buffed to exhaust for 10 seconds instead of 5.

Not only does the stick show where the bird is but also it gives survivors knowledge of basically exactly where the artist is. So if you’re trying to shoot a generator cross map but they’re looking in your direction coincidentally they know to 1) get off gen and 2) that you’re super far from them and they’re pretty safe

The only thing id probably change are moving the xenomorphs yellow addons that decrease turret range and increase resistance to turrets up to like B/C tier. Theyre so good, especially when used together. Youll never get burned out of runner mode unless survs set 2 turrets next to each other that also share LOS. At least from the games ive played, thats been my experience. Obviously, as you said, theyre all subject to change as theyre only in ptb right now, and we havent all played the killer as much as we have others.

i found that nemesis zombie wristband addons are absolutely underrated, the information they give you and their harassing capability is incredible, i had many problems with zombie behaviour without them, often times walking past survivors and body blocking you instead, but these are honestly better than all others i found

You vastly underestimate the hatchet speed add-ons and the add-on that makes you open lockers faster... There is a reason iron maiden is run by so many huntresses and with the add-on to open lockers faster you can stack this speed with iron maiden or just simply replace iron maiden for another perk. It also allows you to constantly go for shots as running out of ammo is way less detrimental and allows you to reload during chase without survivors getting too far from you, especially if you do it in a smart way. The hatchet speed add-ons is just simply insane, most survivors gets caught off-guard by these and even very strong experienced survivors with good reaction times will find it extremely difficult to react to double speed hatchets, even if you stand far away and they are aware of you aiming at them

Also the add-on for huntress that inflects 5 seconds of exhaustion is not as good as you think. With huntress being 110 move speed its very easy to get an accumulated 5 seconds of walk in during chase, and it can actually help survivors by basically giving them a 99 sprint burst / lithe etc. so instead of them being forced to use it during a safe loop, they can now save it for when they need to go to the next loop or get distance on you... no way this add-on is better than deerskin gloves

The gloves are fine and Iron Maiden is better but running them together is kind of overkill. And yeah you can reload faster but why wouldn’t I just run one of the better add ons? Or stick to Iron Maiden and use TWO better addons? It’s not bad but you have better options and sometimes you may not even care about locker speed

​@@riasico it doesnt really make sense to argue that sticking to iron maiden will let you use two additional add-ons instead of deerskin. Obviously you can run anything you want with deerskin as the second add-on, so essentially using deerskin over iron maiden would let you run a different perk instead of a different add-on. Which in a lot of cases is more beneficial, since perks are way more flexible than add-ons, although it does come at the cost of being less powerful. The reason why you would run deerskin and iron maiden is because you save half a second every single time you open a locker. Half a second is a lot, especially if you need to reload during a chase. But the true power behind deerskin gloves comes from its ability to greatly enhance iri hachet, as it lets you be way more aggressive with it, than to have to play it safe. I am fully convinced that this add-on is the best to use with iri hatchet since it tremendously reduces the penalty you get form running iri, which no other add-on does

At the current moment i feel like survivors are really overwhelming for most killers, someone told me that killer shpuld be buffed to have 5 perks to somewhat balance the killers side of things to which i said how about 3 addons or make some killers movement speed 3 or 5% faster so a 110 killer would be 113 or 115 so some survivors perks wont be as strong and he agreed saying the extra speed for killer would be great but that'd have to balance some perks but the 3 addons he loved saying that wpuld leave every killer open for move playable builds instead of forcing killers to run perks they dont like cuz they need to use certain perks to even have a chance with the current and some past metas in the game

a follow up on pyramid head ad ons, from 800 hours on him, i would rank the trail duration ad ons lower. a little part of his trails is he can only have 100 trail "elements" down at the same time, and if you are spamming trails, youll end up replacing old trails with new ones before the timer is up. seal of metatron also has a cute (if tunneling was cute) effect. if you cage a survivor, they are still tormented. so if you cage 2 survivors at once, in whatever niche situation that happens, you can see the aura of the caged survivors and beeline it straight to them to get your totally-balanced-and-deserved extra hook state thanks to no endurance. (this doesnt really matter with a basic understanding of cages; they take the furthest unspawned hook spot, so you can predict where they spawn depending on where you are in the map.) informative video as always otz, cheers!

@@i_fuze_hostages6 I'd say so, yea. his power is pretty straight forward for the chase part, and if you are looking to shut down loops you can zone with it like you can doctor. however, that isn't high stakes enough for me, so I avoid it (and it is unfun to survivors since it lacks counterplay) and instead go for a lot of wall shots. if you squint really hard you could say he is a mix of both, offering control and also ranged attacks. here is a tip: look up pyramid head flicks

I have to disagree on the nurse "Bad Man's" Last Breath, 25sec of undeteable is alot, I would love you to revisit this. combine it with aura reading perks like "nowhere to hide" or "a nurse's calling" or "discordance" and this add on lets you have easy grabs and/or suprise attacks. it's a game changer. from my personal experience it sits as strong B or even A.

Foot steps are insane, xenomorph has massive surveillance potential. You can just run underneath the map back and forth, you'll either hear a generator going off, footsteps going off, or healing going off. You can almost always find a chase immediately.

Definitely agreed on Trapper's top two add-ons. Being able to carry all the traps from the get-go is a life saver. Paired with Corrupt Intervention, you save so much more time as a Trapper by not having to waste time collecting/setting up than you would have if you didn't have the Trapper Sack/Corrupt Intervention as a pairing. The amount of time it saved is super beneficial, and I'm so glad they introduced it during his add-on rework. You also nailed it on the fact that when paired with the Iridescent Stone, you can mitigate the unknown variable of pre-spawned traps opening in random, useless locations. If you barely place down any traps, you can guarantee re-spawning choke points for most of the game. You won't get away with not using many traps, though, but it still is a really great thing to keep in mind. A few more tweaks to maps, like more grass, and a small Trapper buff of some kind and I think he could easily be Mid-High B Tier.

Some things about the huntress addons I'd like to point out: Oak haft is imo her best addon, as the time save for pick-ups, kicking pallets, kicking walls, etc. Slowly stacks up over the entire game. If you're already good at countering tiles with standard hatchets, the wind-up addons just aren't as good. A lot of players who use the exhausted addon ALWAYS over-use hatchets in chase, letting survivors easily walk for 5 seconds around loops. Usually only an issue with newer huntress players, but the exhausted addon does encourage m1's to not risk the 5 seconds of walking. Flight speed, while good, does not help with snipes as much as you think. Due to the flight speed, you can't snipe over rocks, walls, or even have a CHANCE at any orbitals. It's good for long-range in the open hits or having any elevation + smaller tiles, but otherwise it's pretty lack-luster. Wooden Fox should be B tier. Don't under-estimate how many survivors rely purely on the red stain to chase, undectable removes that. Combined with wind-up, shack becomes one of the easiest tiles in the game. Other-wise good list, would like to know your thoughts on changing iri head to instadown to 40+ meters or so, similar to iri coin. Reasoning being that promoting snipes would wastes the huntress's time if they keep missing, and it goes in-hand with the achievement.

Having used the crew headset quite a bit, I think it’s a little undervalued. Shouldn’t use it by waiting in tunnels, but just when heading to a gen you passively gain so much more info.

GHOSTFACE Tip: It might sound obvious and I know Otz mentioned it briefly but if your using the drivers license, 99 people. It makes it nearly impossible for survivors to react fast enough before it blows up in their face. It takes practice for sure, but use your map offerings and you’ll see how disgusting it is. Lery’s is obviously the shout.

7:20:20 Hey, Otz! I actually use this addons. The thing is, when birds stay idle to the point they disapear, your ability to place them goes on cooldown. So there is situations where you place a bird, survivor runs to another loop, and by the time you catch to them, bird disapear and you cannot place another.

(1:22min)Tombstone Piece (from my own experience) -The bug activates when you get stunned with a pallet, for some reason. While tier 3 is active. -There’s a chance of undoing the bug if you get stunned again or if you kill a survivor. Rarely gets fixed if you open lockers. - If the bug is active during end game then this becomes hell for you. If you are running end game perks or limited time usage (timer) perks then you won’t get notified because your screen will be blank. You won’t be able to see your perks activated or deactivated. At this point it becomes a guessing game with your perks. - Again, if you have a fresh survivor that still has a lot of stalk juice left. You’re going to have to time the Mori yourself. -Screen is blank so you can’t see if a survivor has been hooked or not or is on death hook. -of course the bug can go away on its own but don’t count on it anytime soon during game. It could also just be random. Ps- There’s a pinhead bug that when a survivor is holding the box and then slides on a pallet (while injured) Sometimes the game will read it as if that survivor has “done” the box. Pss- Chain-hunt doesn’t activate anymore when you get the box… Sadge.

Furin hasn't worked the way you say in a long time. When they nerfed it, they changed it so that you hear the directional audio as soon as you enter 24 m, regardless of where you began your phase. It can't be used to ambush like that any more.

2:13:31 - another great pairing of Iridescent Axe Head is with Wooden Fox Figurine (you put it in C tier). 30 second undetectable with a 1 hit ranged insta-down ... hook your victim, grab another hatchet right away to repeat the cycle. You can even chuck your axe and refresh the undetectable status indefinitely all match. And when paired with the new Xenomorph perk "Ultimate Killer" you make all survivors scream and reveal themselves on the map each time you open and reload your hatchets.

As a wraith main the all seeing auras are massively situational and usually just suck, I only bring purple if I send myself to either swamp, rpd, or deaddawg because of people's tendency to hide in brush (RPD to see to the next floor and through thin halls) Also I love the blink add-ons with play with your food, enduring, spirit fury, and lethal. Collect pallets and stacks from obsession then go to someone else in an unstoppable hunt. The bonus of Haste making you faster when uncloaking is a bonus

Hey Otz! This video is amazing. One thing I would love in addition (if there's ever a future video, similar to this), would be to show the in-game perk text on-screen when you start talking about a perk. You describe the perk really well every time, but it's still nice to be able to read exactly what the perk does :)
